(2023 Update:) New owner, same ambiance. Owner tends to be present every visit, is kind of a brooding presence at the register. But the long-time staff always make up for him, and are the best pizza peeps around. They can bake up almost any customized pie you like (within reason), and are happy to help, pass jokes with customers, and make this Cici's a success. NOTE: Prices went up by ~$2.50 per buffet. Both due to world cost increases and new owners adjusting. Still worth it.
(2021-05-09 Update:) "YES, WE ARE OPEN!" The new crew no longer makes taco pizzas with salsa. But cook Mara was awesome and created her own jalepeño version that was just as good! New requirements are simple: come with a mask through the buffet line, remove your mask to eat. Repeat. Easy!
Staff serves your selections on a plate behind plexiglass, or you order a type of pizza you prefer and they'll bake you up a personal size pizza and deliver it/them to your table! Per the City all fountain drinks are offline, but you can select from one (1) bottled drink at the front counter. Kid gaming center also closed, but BATHROOMS ARE OPEN. Welcome back, Cici's Pizza!
(2020-03-05 Update:) It's a salad! It's a pizza! It's a taco!
IT'S A TACO PIZZA!!!
Upon entering, 1st question: "Do you have any taco pizza today?"
Manager Anthony physically went into the back room to check if there were the ingredients needed to make me a customer this day. He brought back a fresh head of lettuce, searched around to make sure there was enough salsa, and proceeded to make magic happen (after properly washing his hands!). I eagerly waited for my order, because in the past managers have always told me either there weren't enough ingredients (salsa usually), or they only make that style on weekends. So I've left unfulfilled 3+ times. Today was a great day, and great move by Anthony to make this Military Veteran (13 yrs in Middle East) happier. Good job, Anthony!
(Original 2020-August:) Pros: Unlimited pizza buffet, unlimited salad buffet, unlimited drink buffet (yes, buffet, as they have many teas, sodas, juices, etc.!). All for cheaper than buying your basic meal at a fast food burger chain. The ambience at this location hasn't changed much in the past decade. Why change when it works so well for hungry patrons? Great value for the money!
Con: Not of the eatery, but of the patrons. The most super obese of people were in/out of this location. Often with obese kids. I counted x28 300+ pounders dropping in while we were dining. Not fat-shaming anyone. This speaks well of the buffet value, and badly of American dining habits in a shrinking...
Read moreWent on a Sunday, and to our surprise it was very slow. The gentleman at the front checking us in was kind, and friendly! There was only two other staff there, that could be seen in the back prepping/cleaning. Typically the CiCi’s we’ve been to before on the East Coast, have at least 10-12 different pizzas, but this location was definitely not the same unfortunately. There was only 5 “halves” of pizza, and each with meat/veggies. The “Alfredo” sauce was 100% not normal, and completely watery in both taste and texture… so it went to waste. The marinara was completely fine for the pasta however and tasted normal. Being a vegetarian, I wanted just a few simple plain cheese slices, but that was not out so I did ask for them to please make a cheese pizza. The woman said she was would, so I grabbed the fresh cheese bread in the meantime, which was amazing by the way! The woman yelled “cheese” and I went up to grab some for us, but to my disappointment, noticed she only made 1/2 a cheese pizza. I didn’t want to sound ungrateful so I didn’t ask her to make more. So we sucked it up and ate the four cheese slices, and my husband got the pepperoni to fill up, and then we had dessert. The cinnamon rolls were hot, fresh, and amazing. Overall, not a bad experience, but definitely won’t be coming back here unless we hear it’s gotten better as far as pizza options go. Service was good overall though, and if you don’t mind limited pizza options,...
Read moreHaven't been here since before covid. It has changed alot! The buffet used to have a bunch of pizza on it with a good variety and they kept up with the customers. Multiple dessert pizzas and brownies and the salad bar was full and pasta was kept up with. They used to have a bunch of games for the kiddos and used to be able to request slices or pizzas to the table. Not no more.
We went in and there was like 6 slices on 4 empty pans that looked like they had been there a while. Brownie tray was empty. Cinnamon roll tray was empty. Salad was frozen and brown. Pasta was soggy as it gets. So I requested a pepperoni pizza, cheese pizza, and spinach pizza for the buffet. Took about 30 minutes for them to get it out and buy time they put it on buffet a hoard of other people got to all of it before my kids could even get anything. 3 adults one kid came out to $49 and kids barely ate wife wouldn't eat and I didn't eat because I felt so guilty. The games all sucked and the staff was on their phone while ringing us up. Wouldn't pay attention to us. I guess covid really screwed this place up and under new management has fallen through the floor. Far far through the floor. I won't ever return. I'll go to Peter piper pizza or order pizza hut or...
