Spent over 60$ today on single Pokémon cards. Came in at 6, and looked around. Everything was cool at first but when I was being ringed up to check out the lady (younger blonde gal) was very rude. As I was price checking the cards she tells me “you know what man I’m not in the mood”. Well I was very shocked by her response as my tone was inviting of this type of attitude. There was absolutely no reasoning for her to act this way and say what she told me. It was very left field because we were talking and happy a second before and all of a sudden the attitude came out. I responded “wait... am I offending you or something” and “why did you say this when I just asked for the price”. If she’s not in the “mood” then maybe find another job or work elsewhere since this job (selling individual trading cards) has to involve price look ups. I prolly won’t come back anymore. I had a pile I wanted to hold to buy. Maybe by the price of the total is what made her assume I wouldn’t come back for it when I just dropped 70$ cash on few cards. See I have no money issues just my cash was not on me and I had no debit card. I can from school and turn straight in. Her reasoning for telling me “are you sure you coming back man, I want to sell these cards, there’s other buyers” is because she thinks I won’t be back for them I’m assuming. But her logic makes no sense. If I’m asking you to hold for tomorrow and ur saying u want them sold to other buyers who wants also; wouldn’t they be gone or sold? If there in display case and sitting there on sale, why is the issue even a valid reasoning?
All I’m saying is you better look like a “Napoleon dynamite” type of guy and have that profile or you will be judged up and down and have all eyes on you.
Yes this is a trading card store not a Gucci or LV high end store lol but yet they act and treat it as if everyone walking in with a different look then what they assume to be trustworthy is a person who needs to be treated as dirt and judged.
My English might be bad and spelling prolly wrong but I’m pretty upset while typing this so excuse my poor skills of...

Read moreI felt discriminated against because of the way I looked (Dark skin, tattoos, and braided hair). Not by the original employee who was helping me. She had great customer service and was pleasant. The rude guy was a short, shaved head, Caucasian guy who looked angry like I had done something to him. The female employee was going to buy some of my cards. She rejected most of them but kept some of the cards. She invited the angry shaved headed white guy over verify 2 cards and without even looking at the cards he instructed her not to buy any of them unless they were expensive cards. Dude wouldn't even look me in the eye. Maybe he was bullied in high school by someone who looked like me. I've always treated people equally even if they didn't look like me. I dont care that he decided against buying any of my cards. I'm upset by the way I was treated. He couldn't even look me in the eye the entire...
