Donut Mart — Restaurant in Albuquerque

The donuts are good. If it weren't for the staff interactions, we'd definitely go back. When we moved to the area from out of state, we went and picked up some food here and took it back home. They left out 1/3 of our order. I could not go back and they could not refund me. Fast forward a few months. We go back and ask about getting the food we paid for last time and the woman we talked to said that if I had called when she happened to be there, then maybe they could have done something, that is their rules. Who are you and how do I know I was supposed to talk to you over another person How do I know when you, whoever you are, are there or not Even my early teen-aged kids were surprised about how we were treated Your staff created this problem and you are acting like I am wrong for not having jumped through your invisible hoops properly I did not make a scene and was not rude. After all, it was just some pastries. I paid for my order and we left. Forever.

I know losing one customer is not a big deal.

Girl that is working day shift, short hair, youngish, is rude and sloppy, I take care of elderly clients, and I took one out for a treat. We each order a bagel with cream cheese and a doughnut. My client gets hers and I notice that the clerk doesn't put cream cheese in the bag, so for my bagel I ask for the cream cheese on the side, at this time the girl gives me a long look, then prepares my order. She gets the cream cheese and foil wrapped bagel, and puts it in the same bag with the doughnut. I look in the bag and the foil is covered in chocolate, so I ask her for another bag so I can separate the food. Now she's just starting at me angry as I'm switching the food. WTH! Then I state, the foil is taking off all the frosting, she says "oh really" and walks away. I called another location asking for the number to the corporate office and was told, that the girl's father owns the location and I can call him in the morning, but since IT'S HIS DAUGHTER MORE THAN LIKELY NOTHING WILL BE DONE. Went to Donut Mart for the first time ever this morning and was excited to try it, but the woman working there this morning (didn't catch her name; she was short, round, blonde hair) had an extremely lackadaisical "I don't wanna be here" attitude. I go over to the counter and order my donuts and a caramel latte. Her response to the coffee I ordered was, "We have a coffee machine and creamer over there" as if to say, "Make your own coffee cause I don't want to make anything for you". If she was unable to make my caramel latte due to reasons out of her control, she should have told me that. The atmosphere, service and food were all terrible. The donuts tasted like rubber and chemicals. I won't be coming back...
