Scotty is not the brightest. She/Target (mainly the Wyomimg location) also failed to answer our numerous calls we had on auto. Either that, or Target ignores or blocks numbers. Bad business and service.
Background: We had to come back again to pick up items for the second time because they failed to give us many items we previously ordered and went to pick up earlier in the morning.
Fortunately, manager Savannah was great and was able to help - she said she will have our missing items ready for pick up right away.
When we were ready to head out , we called ahead to let guest services know we were on the way at 8:23 pm - we told Scotty (lady who answered) that we were less than 5 minutes away and again when we were 3 minutes away so that they would have the bags ready (you know, so we wouldn’t have to wait too long etc./common sense). We also told her what car we were in. We gave her specific details and were told the guys would be out with the bags, yet when we arrived, we had to call her again twice -so we let her know we arrived and our car description again and parking space.
She was rude/short with us on prior calls and seemed unreasonably annoyed. She said they are watching for us and know about everything. However, we had to finally wave down the guys bc they kept delivering bags to other cars and didn’t give us a single glance. They had no clue we were there and said that Scotty told them we were in a Ford Focus (completely different car brand and type). Anyways, she clearly missed the ball either because she has no brain and common sense, doesn’t know what she’s doing, and shouldn’t be in that job or she purposely did that.
Anyways, Scotty/they forgot another item. We tried calling many times (on auto call), including all the departments there and other Target locations in town hoping to get a manager to call the Wyomimg store/to tell them Scotty messed up etc etc. and re the missing item but not a single person answered - we believe Target chose to ignore calls or blocked certain numbers without reason/they just didn’t want to answer.
Not a big deal - we enjoyed the rest of our night and we can always call tomorrow in hopes that the daytime workers and managers are a lot smarter, considerate, and actually know what they are doing. We will let them know what happened and the issues Scotty caused etc etc.
Target at Wyoming/Scotty did not have the common sense to help a customer they made come back for the second time due to their failure to timely give us our items. When we came back, instead of trying to make up for that and the missing items, they only showed poor service, zero common sense, and manners. Luckily not all employees are like that there- a few are great like Savanah. Hopefully we never have to deal with Scotty again.
We can also always try calling with other...
Read moreI usually have no issues at this Target, however my most recent drive up experience was a hassle. I ordered one bag full of vitamins, one bag full of cleaning supplies, one bag with a couple food items and a 50 lb container of cat litter. The associate pulled the cart up to my trunk and I saw all my items were on the cart. She put the cat litter and my bag of food in my trunk. Of course I couldn’t see what she was putting in my trunk. Well I get home to realize all the vitamins and cleaning supplies were not in my trunk. There wasn’t an option to go back to pick my missing bags up. I had to request a refund in each individual item or have it shipped. It was $48 worth of items. I was not happy.
Edit: I posted this review because I was prompted to do so after taking a customer service survey from Target. I was contacted by a Team Lead at the Target Location. She was so nice and so apologetic. She told me that anytime this were to happen (hopefully it doesn’t) I can just call the store and they’ll hold the missing bag for me. Missing bags are always held for 5 days before being placed back on the shelf and refund automatically issued. She also said that she was able to identify the customer service associate who made the error and she was going to provide some tips on how to make sure all bags are accounted for correctly. I know the customer service associate certainly wasn’t being rude or trying to be difficult. She was super sweet. It was just a mistake. The staff at Target have a lot on their plate. Especially when they have to manage the actual shopping part and pick up. It’s so busy at this Target. This was just an honest mistake that certainly created some frustration, but I believe Target has...
Read moreI've been going to this Target for years. And for years I have been impressed. The store is clean, the staff is ALWAYS helpful, and they usually have what I need.
During the pandemic I started using their pick up and I am just as impressed. They consistently have the order ready within an hour. They usually meet me in the parking lot as I pull up. The 'kids' (grin - yes, I'm old) who bring out my order are always friendly and helpful.
This past year, due to some bad planning on my part, I ended up in Target the Sunday after Thanksgiving. I've worked retail for years and I know how hard it is to keep any store neat after that holiday. This one? Spotless. I don't know how many folks they had running around keeping everything together, but it was amazing.
I am consistently impressed with the staff I interact with at this store. In well over 20 years I've not run into anyone who was less than polite, and everyone has been helpful.
Working retail these days is just flat out hard. People are extremely demanding, there are all sorts of supply chain issues, hours are shifting all over the place, and expectations just keep rising. That being said, this Target seems to be taking it all in stride and just knocking it out the park.
They's...
