I attempted to place an order online for delivery only to be told after trying to submit my order I received an "Item not available" message on the wings, so we adjust our order but continued to get this message. I then called the store and asked what sauce wasn't available only to find out that the online ordering has been a bit glitchy. The girl I spoke to said that she would write down my wing order, and if I went back online and tried ordering again without the sauce she would tell the cooks what sauce I needed in an attempt to get the delivery order to go through. I tried again online only for it to say again that I couldn't place my order. I then called back to say that I would go ahead and just pick up the order. The girl I was speaking with then put me on hold for a really long time. After about seven minutes I hung up and then called back. When the girl answered I said I was go ahead and officially place my order for pick up and was told that my wings were already cooking. I said "okay, great! Well here's the official order....." After adding the cheese curds, dipping sauces etc.. she told me that my order would be ready in about 20 minutes. I did the 10 minute drive and arrived on time to pick up my order. After waiting a while for someone to come to the front desk, a girl came out and asked for my information. I gave my name, told her what happened and that I was told it would be ready for pick up by now... After searching and being unable to find my order she asked me to wait a bit for another girl, I assume the one who took my order over the phone. When she came out she explained to me that my order wasn't made because she didn't know if I was going to show up or not, after having been told that she can take my order by phone. I gave absolutely NO reason for them to believe that I wasn't going to show up for my phone order and worst part is that she told me twice that they were already getting it ready. I asked how long it was going to be and she said 10 minutes and I should go wait in my car at curbside pick up and someone would bring it out. Almost 20 minutes later I got a call saying that my order was ready at the front counter and that I can come in and pick it up... I said I was told they'd bring it out to me. She said give me a minute and I'll be right out .. Five minutes later she came out with my food, and two of my sauces were missing, thankfully I caught it and she ran back in for them. The girls were fairly nice to me but the one tried to tell me what I wanted to hear about my order and not what I needed to know, causing more frustration in the end... Read moreAbout a year ago I went in for a later lunch (around 1 pm). I'd been to this location many times and service has always been...questionable at best, especially during the day. Anyhow, I ordered a beer, some wings, and some fries. The service was fine for the first five minutes; responsive, and seemed like they were going to be fine. Well I got my beer and then lost my waiter. Then my food arrived with a different waitress and it wasn't correct, but nobody asked if I had everything I needed or if everything looked right and she walked off. I waited five minutes before walking over to a different table to get silverware and napkins. I never saw any waitstaff again. An hour went by, an hour and a half went by, nothing. Not once did anyone come check on me to refill my beverage that was empty or to see how I was doing. After two hours of waiting...I walked out. The only time in my life I've walked out. I would have left cash to cover the food but I only had my card and if they weren't going to check up on me, then it was their loss.
Tonight , I decided to give them another try because I was coming home from work late and just wanted dessert. Once again I was greeted quickly and I just asked for some coffee. Ten minutes later he comes back, not with my coffee but to tell me they'd have to check in the back to see if there was any coffee on site. Seriously?! Anyhow I ordered hot tea, then iced tea as a third option since I wasn't in the alcohol mood and he told me they definitely had iced tea. So he walked off before I could place any for food and before he was willing to ask. Seven minutes later I got my tea and he tried to walk off again before I told him I wanted some dessert and made sure to order it as he walked away from me. 15 minutes later I wasn't sure if I was going to be seen again as I was bypassed like an ugly mule when he brought me out my dessert nachos. They were okay, but I didn't understand why it would take so long to make ANYTHING unless they had to make the ice cream from scratch. This is a franchise after all and it appeared I was his only table. Food sufficed and he was at least polite enough to charge me for the coffee fee instead of iced tea (apparently a dollar off). However, I was hoping to get in and out within 30 minutes and I was there for well over an hour.
Is the food worth it? No. Is the service worth it? No. Would I go back? Why should I? This has to be the worst franchise in Albuquerque on any level for business and I've been to most of them. If you want better food with better service, eat a hot dog you've found...
Read moreLiterally the WORST BWW I've ever been to, it's sad that I have to give 1 star because this specific location does not even deserve that due to poor management! The manager Candace clearly does not know a thing about managing a business or handling customer service! And the bartender follows right behind her! Waited almost an hour to be seated and was told that there was only 2 servers, we were completely okay with that until we saw the poor 2 servers running around trying to take care of tables while Candace just stood around not even helping the only 2 servers she had. She could have even been in the restrooms cleaning the filth but she obviously doesn't care about anything but a paycheck! I give the 2 servers my upmost respect because they were the only ones making sure things were running as smoothly as possible. Candace on the other hand does not deserve the title of a manager. I have been a manager at several restaurants, and I know the main thing that comes first is my employees and making sure they are not overwhelmed and then the customers are the #1 priority. At one point we even saw her standing around wiping her eyelashes with a napkin. Not sure if she was crying or fixing her makeup but that was completely unacceptable due to the restaurant going downhill because obviously management hasn't been chosen or trained properly. The fact that she sat around and watched her only 2 servers scramble around trying to take care of the 60+ customers they had was truly a disgust! I will never eat at this location and I will advise everyone I know not to eat here as well. BWW please do a better job at picking managers that you choose to run your business. This poor excuse of a manager and bartender are only gonna drive sales downward and give BWW a horrible reputation. I also got charged more than what was priced on the menu which is very upsetting to me. I will be getting in touch with corporate tomorrow about this situation. I am also going to suggest that corporate view the cameras for tonight and see why I posted this review. Then they will know exactly what I'm talking about when I say Candace does not...
