Satellite Coffee — Restaurant in Albuquerque

Let me start off by saying my wife and I are regular customers of satellite coffee and Usually everybody is friendly today not so much I also door dash on the side and today I went in to pick up an order I walked up to the register and from behind the counter I heard I’ll be right with you I responded no rush I’m just here for a pick up I was standing in the vicinity of the pick up area when a employee came to the register and threw the drinks on the counter and said rudely to pick up door dash you have to come to the register to which I responded isn’t that where I’m at she yelled you were talking to him over there referring to the gentleman who told me he would be right with me I told her what ever and took my order and told her to have a blessed day with her obnoxious attitude 😀 to which she yelled don’t ever come back here again she was rude aggressive and obnoxious and really should not be in customer service while I will probably never patronize this coffee shop again there are plenty in Albuquerque but I would like to talk to the general manager or district manager about this employees treatment...

In the heart of our town, there stood a coffee shop, With a mediocre hot chocolate, but an aesthetic that won't stop.

The walls were painted with hues of mocha and cream, And the tables and chairs were a quaint, rustic dream.

The barista with her glowing hair and apron, is always smiling, As customers walk in, excited and beguiling.

The coffee was decent, but the hot chocolate lacked, Yet no one seemed to mind, the atmosphere was packed.

People would come to take photos and snap, Of the mugs and the artwork, that lined the coffee shop's map.

The barista, she knew, that their hot chocolate fell short, But the aesthetic, they boasted, was always her forte.

As the seasons change, and sometimes the decor, With pumpkins and lights in autumn, and snowflakes in winter galore.

The coffee shop became a place to gather and meet, For friends and family, and couples looking for a treat.

And so, even with mediocre hot chocolate on tap, This coffee shop remained a beloved town trap.

For the aesthetic was grand, and the service top-notch, And the memories made there, no one...

Very Questionable Sanitation Standards and Covid Spread Mitigation Practices. Today, 12/28/2021, our Tuesday morning coffee club visited Satellite Coffee. We were there from 8:20 to 10:45am. At no time did anyone come out from behind the service counter to clear, clean nor sanitize the self serve condiments bar surface nor creamer pitchers, table tops nor chairs, bathroom door handle, entry door handles nor the bathroom key holder conveniently located out of the control of any staff member. Additionally, there was an individual allowed by management to occupy a table (within full view of staff) where he leaned up against the wall...asleep...for the full duration of our visit. I can only imagine what other ABQ City Health Codes were being ignored and or violated at this location, sad...and disconcerting. Michael Slaughter
