This locally owned and operated store is a true diamond in the rough. The couple that owns the shop consider everyone that walks through the doors to be like dear friends or family. They greeted me and my daughter immediately when we walked in and I’ve felt nothing but cared for, appreciated, and a true love of all of our child-like loves in vintage toys from them both.
You will find everything from hot wheels, to Transformers, to Star Wars, GI Joe, M.A.S.K., legos, all the way to Smurfs, Funko Pops, Littlest Petshop, and Monster High. If you played with it in the 70’s, 80’s, or 90’s, I can almost guarantee you will be able to live out some amazing memories.
They buy or trade all your vintage toys, too.
Currently, they are helping me complete my Star Wars figures collection, and I have no doubt that they will be on the look out at conventions and all over the place to help me find those rare and unique figures as my collection is slowly completed.
When talking to the owners I feel like I’m simply talking to a friend that I had down the street when I was in elementary school who I’d play with my figures every afternoon after school or on the playground. All those memories of 4-5 of us all bringing our Transformer Constructions so we could build the massive huge Devastator Transformer.
Even if you are not a collector, or only interested in selling or trading your older loved toys, you can come into the shop and leave with a smile on your face. I spent my first trip into the shop drooling and showing my daughter all the toys I used to play with!
This shop is so unassuming, but completely gives off Disney feels and vibe for everyone that grew up in the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s.
Just go in, strike up a conversation with the owners or workers, and realize how special this place is!
They just celebrated their first year of being in business considering that was just coming out of COVID, that is a huge testament to the amazing honesty and love they have for the toys of our childhood.
They have been nothing but honest with me when it comes to the trade-ins I’ve brought them, as well as, the figures I’ve bought.
They know what their vintage toys are worth and they want to see the toys going into good homes and will price the pieces appropriately to make sure they find a good home and might even provide a small nest egg in the future.
Can not express how much everyone needs to experience this store and how we all need to support this...
Read moreThe owner of this store just very aggressively approached my boyfriend and me in Blue Eagle Metaphysical and demanded to know if we had left a poor review for them. When we were leaving Blue Eagle, the owner was waiting for us and started to approach us again. He made us both feel unsafe and we will absolutely never shop there or recommend it to anyone.
Edit: It is fine for you to say that my review means nothing because I didn't set foot in the store. What I am saying is that you have displayed yourself to be a person who cannot gauge proper boundaries of human decency when interacting with others. Your behavior toward us today, as well as your responses to negative reviews you've been given, display that you are insecure in yourself and your business. You would have no need to vehemently defend yourself to "spammers" if your business or character could stand...
Read moreI was patiently waiting to go into the stores on this strip once they were open - Blue Eagle Metaphysical was the reason I came, but I was going to check this store out. The owner asked us to leave "their store parking" that was only labeled "no church parking" and not "parking for Yo! Toys customers only" so we re-parked and went into Blue Eagle and then the shop owner came inside Blue Eagle, literally hunted us down, and aggressively demanded if we had left a bad review and he was very scary and now I don't even want to go back to Blue Eagle. Good job scaring future customers away!
Edit: I would've checked this store out and it was fine that they asked us to move our car to a different spot...but after the owner came up to us so aggressively, I won't...
