A choice Chinese Restaurant! My wife and I ventured out for a quick lunch but we were not in agreement on what we wanted, enter Chinese cuisine! Such a wide variety of preparation! We were in the neighborhood so Szechwan Chinese it was!

We arrived about 11:30 and the restaurant was not overly busy. We were greeted promptly, ordered, and were soon enjoying their lunch specials.

Soup is part of the lunch special and we both elected for Hot and Sour soup. The soup was served with crispy noodles. I could have made a meal of the soup! A nice vinegar-sweet flavor with a hint of spice. I turned up the heat with a few drops of Sriracha available as a table condiment. A nice selection of mushroom, tofu, wood ear, and onion, the fried noodles made a nice counterpart texture. Yum!

We were enjoying the afterglow of the soup when our entree arrived. My wife chose Sweet and Sour Chicken. I had opted for Chicken with Cashews. Both where served with fried rice, an egg roll, and a dipping tray with mustard and a sweet sauce. Being someone who can’t resist the heat, I dredged my egg roll into the mustard and was rewarded with a crisp egg roll shell and a eye watering hit of mustard. The veggies in the roll retained some texture. Wonderful! I turned my attention to my entree. The chicken was marinated, tender, and delicious. The accompanying veggies were cooked to perfection and they had not spared the cashews, total lunch time bliss settled on me! The fried rice was a great counterpart for the entree. My wife offered a few bites of her chicken. A crispy coating still existed under the sauce coating. Not too sweet with just a hint of spice. After finishing the mustard, I enjoyed the sweet sauce on my egg roll, a very pleasant, mildly sweet sauce.

We were served a fortune cookie for afters and we also ordered some almond cookies which came in a group of five. My wife enjoyed a cookie and brought the remainder home. The two meals and the cookies totaled $16 and change. Good food and...

This USED to be my absolute favorite Chinese restaurant since I was a child! I loved absolutely everything about it! The pricing tge atmosphere the quaIity of food and amount you got service EVERYTHING! I was extremely disappointed to see how much they raised their prices and has less quality to their food. they remodeled and now it feels like going into a fast food place and their service really declined my favorite thing to order was the family dinner since it gave you a few different choices of soup, salad (which was really delicious I loved the dressing they would put on it), you would get an egg roll deep fried shrimp and a chicken wing, then a full sized entrée along with pork fried rice for $11.99 now its around $16 but they took off the salad from their menu completely the fried shrimp you used to get was switched to a frozen breaded shrimp and the chicken wing was switched with a frozen chicken nugget and you no longer get an eggroll and the best soup they had was no longer an option you only get white rice and the portion size of the entrée was significantly smaller I get with inflation prices had to go up but for the raise in prices but drop in quality of food was saddening this literally was my absolute favorite restaurant out of anywhere for the past 20+ years and now I never want to go there again I really hope they change things back to how they had it because it felt like a major...

If I could mark zero stars I would. I have been eating here for 30 years. In the past the quality and portion size was excellent as was the lunch price of $7.99. Today I went to have lunch and they now have an extremely small buffet for $10.99. You can no longer order from the menu. You are forced to use the buffet. The selection on the buffet was extraordinarily limited. Three chicken choices and one beef choice. The quality of the food was poor and the food was at room temperature. Very small microwavable egg rolls replaced the once standard sized homemade egg rolls. I did not see them replenish the foods the entire time I was there; rough 45 minutes. Makes you wonder how long the food is sitting out. This may be the reason my wife became very ill 20 minutes after leaving. Drinks are not included and are now $2.25 for 8 oz. Receiving a refill was nearly impossible. I am so disappointed. Poor selection, poor quality, poor customer service. Unfortunately, I will be looking for another restaurant. It saddens me. This place is were I once had wonderful experiences and memories of...

For quick, easy, fast-casual Chinese food, Szechwan is a good choice. I tried their Orange Chicken lunch special, which came with fried rice and an egg roll for $8.20. I got mine to go, but they also offer a lunch buffet for $8.49 Mon-Fri from 11am-3pm and Saturday 12pm-3pm. The buffet has 10 options, then a fruit and jello station. The to go portions were definitely enough for me. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality, as I’ve been disappointed by other Chinese restaurant choices in the area recently. I enjoyed the fried rice and orange chicken, and there was enough sauce to spoon into the rice, which I love to do. I’d definitely go back for a to go lunch, and the prices are great.
