I have had the incredible opportunity to work with Tedashi for well over a year now and it has been consistently been a place of growth, health, and marked improvements. This is a place for tailored workouts that don't just suit your asks but also your age and your personal style.
From the first meeting with Tedashi, I felt comfortable and in capable hands. We went over my asks: a 40 year old out of shape (mostly round) man who wants to consistently build up strength, but centered around grappling/wrestling strength. After my goals were clear, he had me do a basic body fitness evaluation (that felt like a workout to me at the time) and we discussed and explored some different directions we could go. Since then, my initial workouts have continued to be modified to my asks and my improved athleticism. It often feels like I'm constantly leveling up and yet my workouts have adapted and leveled up with me. I have reached my original goals and continue to move forward with improved health and zero injuries to date (from working out).
Now over a year in, and I am markedly stronger in every way that I wanted to be. I've hit my goals, lost a bit of weight, and stayed injury free. Tedashi has always managed to strike the balance of pushing me hard without crossing the line. While I've always felt challenged, I've also always felt safe, and the small tips and nudges give me a much better understanding of what my body is doing. These can be as insightful as how to turn my wrist or angle my shoulder to improve efficacy of a movement, or even as basic as telling me the parts that matter and don't matter, so I know what to focus on and what not to worry about.
An unexpected bonus too is that Tedashi's attention to a strong core and refusal to forget those stabilizer muscles has led to me having a significantly reduced amount of upper back pain. Prior to working out with Tedashi, I would have recurring pain in my upper back and neck pains from sitting in front of a computer all day. But after about 10 months of training, I noticed that I was not as often rubbing my neck or rolling my shoulders. The pain I had for several years was almost not there at all.

Read moreI used to hate working out and never enjoyed it until I started training with Tedashi! He finds ways to make the workouts fun, creative and cool. Over the past year I started training with him for my upcoming guide job and the results I have been getting has been amazing. I was not able to go hike to train so Tedashi came up with amazing ways to train me for uneven surfaces and cardio.
