Disappointing. I don't go to Starbucks often, but usually order one of the cold brews with cream on top, so I ordered the only one on the menu here (of which there were no pictures), which was the "vanilla cream cold brew." I was confused when my drink was called looking like a regular iced coffee and asked if they forgot the cream on top. The barista said I was supposed to specify that I wanted the cream on top when I ordered it. How am I supposed to know that? All the other versions of this drink I have ordered came with thick cream on top. I understand that's not entirely this locations fault. I could have looked up a picture online before ordering (although I shouldn't have to) and Starbucks could be less confusing and make this version the same as the other "cream" versions. However, they could have asked when I ordered how I would like the cream or offered to top it with cream afterwards. I thought, well that's okay, it's not exactly what I wanted, but I'm sure it will taste fine. Nope. Tasted just like a lame vanilla iced coffee that I could have made myself. The kids cocoas were like chocolate flavored water and had to be tossed because they declared them disgusting. My breakfast sandwich was not as good as the ones at a regular Starbucks and my kids surprisingly didn't like the cookies. A...
Read moreLate night perusing at B&N and wanted a cozy drink and cookie. Our barista, Tori, was the most pleasant human being, so patient while we made up our minds (especially when we decided to add on cookies to our drink orders), and her friendly smile as she spoke could've soothed any mundane mood.
We ordered a cappuccino, chai latte, a salted Carmel cookie, and an oatmeal raisin cookie. Both cookies were warmed up and our drinks were perfectly crafted. The cafe area was buzzin with students studying, book lovers reading their new purchases, and families enjoying treats. Even so, there were ample tables available to occupy. Not an intimate cafe space, very bright and almost cafeteria-ish.
Despite the Starbucks logo attached to the cafe, they do not accept Starbucks gifts cards or payment via the Starbuck app. Still a great place to complete the bookstore experience with...
Read moreNo $$ here. PROFILERS!!. Awful, petty, and profiling workers and mangers here. I've never been followed around a store like this damn.
I'm not a blonde but yes a POC. Everyone who works here is blonde and white.
I just needed to use the bathroom, of course, after Starbucks. AND the manager insisted on keeping the batheoom doors open then followed me around the store. This is before I rolled up on them just gossiping about bathroom users. What a terrible place.
Now I'm going to have to stay extra!...
