Read moreFood is 5 stars by itself. Was expecting standard fare standard quality. Just needed some food to get me going. Ordered Katsu and Chicken. Not only was it well portioned, but the chicken did not have the everyday teriyaki sauce that every other place has. Though they do keep teriyaki, soy, sirachi and the gyoza at most the tables. This teriyaki sauce was sweet tangy and just plain delicious. Katsu cooked fantastic. Good amount of breading and not skimpy on amount of meat. And again their own very well rounded Katsu sauce. Good amount of rice nicely cooked. And their salad, AGAIN, a step above every other place. Lettuce, some spinach, thin cabbage, carrots that look freshly cut. Honey poppyseed dressing was great.
I'm just blown away with how everything was just a step up for not more then any other place. Combo plate was $9.99.
Then at my own heart and the reason I stopped in. Boba tea. Nice amount of selection and you can choose tapioca or fruit. Tapioca isn't the best you'll find around but when you want boba tea. It's good enough.
Have you try this place out...
Read moreI have to give 3 stars for meow. Because service was excellent and the place is very clean with a nice atmosphere.
I see good reviews for their teriyaki, which I have not yet tried. So I reserve the right to change my Star level after I try that.
The reason I went lower is I ordered stir fry. It said vegetable stir-fry with beef. That should mean that there's primarily vegetables in there. More than three pieces in more than one kind LOL
Also, way too much sauce! This might be why they give so much rice? Maybe it's meant to be mixed?
Not everyone eats that way.
Maybe they could offer the option to have the sauce on the side and a smaller serving of rice?
The most important part: the meat has definitely been in a warmer. I've been to a few places nearby that definitely cook there's fresh when I order it. I'd rather wait 10 or 15 minutes and pay a dollar more to have it cooked fresh, you know?
Please, a lot...
