I love the variety at Aldi and the quality of produce and meat are excellent. The employee who checked me out today could use customer service training. Instead of asking me to empty the bag that I used to shop (I forgot to bring a quarter) she turned the bag upside down and dumped the contents onto the conveyor belt. A glass jar of pesto would have hit the floor if my husband hadn't caught it. She then tossed the empty bag into the shopping cart beside her and proceeded to toss my groceries as well. When my husband said something to her about dumping the groceries, the response he heard was something about "we don't bag groceries". Yes, we know this to be true and he was bagging our groceries when she said this. When I paid, I made eye contact with her as she handed me the receipt and there was no "thank you", "come again" or any words. Even my teenage granddaughter noticed the rudeness. I want Aldi to do a better job of training their employees. Behavior like this makes me not want to return...
