Where do I even start with this place you would think that the owner who has made about 5 million from his career in baseball and played 5 years with our local reds team that he would care about our community more and not charge such outrageous prices I have been to about all the card shops in this area and I will say hands down this is one of the worst ones I have been to and it’s not just the pricing that’s the issue the people that work there have an attitude towards customers that I have never seen before in a business like when a paying customer comes in and you greet them with “what do you want” instead of a “hi welcome in” is pathetic or even complaining about when a customer asks a question is absurd! and btw “competitive pricing” is not getting product from distributors for cheap! then CHARGING 15 -20$ OVER market value it’s ridiculous your already making profit at that point your just getting greedy which is just sad please stay away from this place and visit either monster games ( which is right down the road ) or Thieves guild which is right on the levee where you will experience great owners and guaranteed...

This has turned into my boys favorite place to go! If I would let them, they would go every single day! They have the best football, baseball, pokemon cards! (All my kiddos like to collect!) My son was able to find a card he was looking for too there!!

JJ is absolutely the best and has gone above and beyond for my boys! That alone has meant the world to me! The staff is absolutely the best! Our first time in I had no idea what I was looking for the boys and the employee whose name I don’t know) he was absolutely so patient and kind with the kids! Our last time in my boys thought it was so cool JJ took the time to open the card with them and look through them!

I do like how clean and neat the place is!

If you haven’t gone I absolutely recommend going! 10/10 !!! Saying we love it is an understatement! Now my boys know there is a “special” section to buy single cards…...

Hoov's Hangout is truly a gem for any card enthusiast! The welcoming atmosphere makes you feel at home from the moment you walk in. JJ Hoover, the owner, is a fantastic guy who loves to engage with customers. He often comes over to chat with my friends and me while playing Magic.

I appreciate how JJ keeps us in the loop about upcoming stock and Magic sets. He's also genuinely interested in hearing about our big pulls, making every visit special. The staff is always friendly, creating a warm environment that encourages you to stick around and enjoy the games.
