We visited Empress Chili in Alexandria for lunch for something different. Typically we eat Skyline Chili a couple times a month. We visited Dixie Chili with our niece not too long ago. Weāve eaten more than our fair share of Cincy chili over the years. The Empress store looked very clean inside and the order process was very simple and not rushed. There were several other tables occupied inside and a constant flow of drive thru customers at about 1pm on a Saturday. My wife had a 5 way and I had a 3 way with a cheese coney no onion. Iām most upset at the service when the adult owners are not working. The kids that are working there could care less. And their prices are very reasonable! Everybody Talks Of Skyline and gold star Chili. But so many don't realize that the skyline brothers that started their brand got their start at Empress Chili years ago.
