This is a great store! It is an Ace Hardware as well. You can get a little bit of everything here. Flowers, rocks by the truckload or bag, mulch, fishing stuff, screws, nuts, bolts, lots of hardware, tools, paint, kitchen stuff, stuff for the home, a little clothing, coolers, lots of things that you need for your home. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The store is well laid out and things pretty easy to find. The 4 star rating is because of our rock order experience. We came in with the area and depth we wanted in rocks. We did not know how much area their scoop of rocks covered. We asked their assistance in estimating how much rock we needed. They calculated and said we needed 7 scoops and that turned out to be at least 3 too many. We used some in another area but have a scoops worth in a pile in the woods. I have been down here for 5 years and have always tried to buy local rather the big box stores going to Pamlico first then Lowe’s or others if I can’t get what I need. Today I walked into the store and not one employee was wearing a mask and only one other customer was wearing a mask.

While we all have to option to risk our own health by not taking precautions, risking the health of others is unacceptable. Sorry Pamlico HB but at this extreme stage of this pandemic, if you can’t be bothered to do what you can to keep me safe and your other customers then you are not the community centric store you should be. I went there today in a pinch and tried to get a chain saw chain. Left with a new chain saw and very, very disappointed with their service. It appeared as this was the place to fellowship for the day and not one person had a clue about chain saw chains 🙄 No one asked if they could help me, I had to request help while standing there with a chain saw in my hand.
