One stat would be an OVER STATEMENT! I drive by this place a lot and every time it looks extremely dead and today when I decided to try them out, I learned why. Everything about this place screams "Laziness!!!". If I ran a business that was perpetually empty, I'd treat any of my customers like royalty. These people made zero effort to try and sell me anything. They seemed annoyed and inconvenienced at having a customer. Lazy. The weed doesn't look all that well. Poor trimming. Sticks in the weed, which adds to the weight they sell you which in turn rips you off. Lazy. The pre-rolls were crammed with stems that PUNCTURED the paper in multiple areas. Lazy. The weed tastes like it was swept off the floor. Looks like it was swept off the floor. You really want to buy floor weed? Had to patch my joint myself to fix the laziness that is of the Alma High Country Healing. Their prices are also higher than that of the other HCH locations. Honestly, take the extra drive to a different dispensary or about 20 miles to the High Country Healing in Silverthorne. They actually know how to take care of a customer and know what quality is.

When I stay in South Park, I always find it worth the short drive past FairPlay to stop in. If I’m coming over Hoosier from Summit, it’s a convenient errand and I’m on my way.

This summer I’ve fortunately (or unfortunately) been staying in Alma due to a broken leg, and luckily High Country is right across the street. I’m a little spoiled, the flower is 👌🫶 I always ask for the good stuff, because my legs broken I don’t want to have to get up as often to smoke lol. Bryan has good stoney recommendations, as does Alec, but honestly, everyone knows their stuff. Onetime someone sold me gummies that, and I quote, “will make your brain feel like a bubble bath.” ..accurate. Their chocolate bars are fire too, someone recommended raspberry, I crunched up the second half into my ice cream.

I’ve also been using their topical salve on my hip and leg all summer. It works better than my lidocaine patches and muscle relaxers, and smells great. And lately, we never leave without grabbing a root beer.

I went to my first 7 dispensaries in 4 different cities before I found this amazing gem. The first 7 were all ok but roughly 3 of them were pretty great. High Country Healing II was by far the best. Everything about this place was perfect: the prices, the customer service from the budtenders, the selection of items, and even the bright orange color of the building. I was helped by some of the most knowledgeable and friendly staff that I have honestly ever encountered in ANY service position.

The name is great and on top of that, the slogan is: "The Highest Dispensary on the Planet." I would go here again and again. It will most likely remain my favorite dispensary...
