NORTHERN STANDARD (Cannabis Dispensary) — Local services in Alma

We have been fans of Northern Standard since they started in 2016. We advocate for dispensaries to carry to their products in Denver and go out of our way to find their products through out Denver. We have also recommended NS to others. It's fair to say we are NS fans.

So today, we made a day trip up to the original Northern Standard shop in Alma from Denver. Over two hours.

We were so excited to visit the shop of our favorite edible. We were greeted by Ray. We shared with Ray that we were "big fans" and happy to see more NS products with the hope of purchasing what's not available in Denver.

But it only took a few minutes for both my wife and I to realize that after our long trip and a few cups of coffee we needed to use a restroom.

So we asked Ray. He said we couldn't use the restroom and nothing was available. Keep in mind this shop is remote and not near any public restrooms. And we just drove a few hours to be supportive.

I asked again in particular for my wife. But it was a firm "no."

So we were forced to leave. And because of the rude and unacomidating response we decided not to return because we had to drive to South Park to find accommodations.

We were very disappointed. Really uncool and unsupportive.

After supporting NS for over nine years it is sad.

David (owner) please review the policy for supporting your customers in particular considering your somewhat locatiion.

We will no longer support or purchase NS...

Stopped in after a gig a while back thinking I'd just get some mountain junk for the ride home. Boy was I wrong! I scored some of the highest quality bud, and best vaping products that could easily cost double the price. And their bud tender Bonnie is the absolute BOMB! Not only was her customer service out of this world, but her knowledge of absolutely EVERY product in the store (and some others as well) was impressive and so thorough you'd think she invented flower! And to just put the icing on the cake, her conversation and professionalism absolutely made my day. Professional, easy to talk to, SUPER knowledgeable, and excellent customer service..why would I go anywhere else? If I could, I would give this place 1,000,000 stars, and Bonnie another million! I will definitely be back, and schedule more gigs out that way just so I can go to Northern Standard and see Bonnie for more superior product and great...

The staff here is very friendly, and they know their product line well. The space is very comfortable, and I was happy to see cannabis culture books, high-quality t-shirts and other cool merch. They also have seeds which come with a female-viable guarantee, which you don't get just anywhere. I really like that they have strain-specific oils of the highest quality (try the elite white tips!) and affordable oils that are far better tasting and more potent than anything I have tried for the price at the other places. The in-house chef is producing next-level edibles, and I will pick up a box of gummies every now and then...and I don't really even like edibles all that much, but these are so darn good! Do yourself a favor, and save a little money to treat yourself to the best and stop at Northern Standard for any of their products, you will not be...
