This is a great place for all your Keg and home brew supplies. I was in recently with my new single tap Kegerator tower that I wanted to covert to double tap. The tower was 2.5 inches in diameter, apparently the commercial grade towers are 3 inches. He explained a double tap tower could not be ordered, but he explained what they could do - which is the 2nd tap underneath with the "picnic style" leaver dispenser nozzel. I agreed to the design and within minutes they whipped out the parts - keg coupler, hoses, nozzel, clamps, etc. and converted me to a double tap right in front of me. They also sold me a draft line cleaner and threw in a bottle of cleaning solution. These guys are just fantastic to deal with. Also and most importantly these guys refill CO2 tanks, most places exchange. So if you have a nice shiny new aluminum bottle, you definitely want to refill as opposed to exchanging. Lastly these guys have everything you need for...
Read moreI used to love this place, a lot of good materials and very helpful staff. Ive spent hundreds on home brew supplies here. Yesterday though, was weird. I walked in with my girlfriend and the guy at the front just looked me in the eye and said nothing. I went up to the counter and he immediately ran away. I figured he might be busy but I’ve usually received good quality service from this place so I waited. Finally he asked “can I help you?” like I was some nuisance. I wanted to refill my tank and get some tips on carbonating my hefeweizen I just paid 60$ for from the store last week. This guy wanted nothing to do with me. Not what I was used to at this place. It was an older guy with short grey hair, Doug I think. Anyway he ended up not even being able to refill my tank like he said he could on the phone. If that were my business I would ditch that guy, he seems mentally unstable. I’ll be using northern brewer for the...
Read moreBob (the owner) is still amazing, as ever, and I have really enjoyed watching Brew Depot grow from the tiny little corner shop it used to be into the beautiful store it is now! Perfect for the beginning brewer through seasoned brewmaster, there's a HUGE selection of just about anything you could want, and at good prices. Bob is scarily masterful of his craft, and clearly had a passion for it, and will happily talk your ear off with solid advice on becoming a great homebrewer. Visits are rarely quick, but only because it is a VERY social environment and you end up chatting with both employees and patrons (and sampling their newest brews more often than not) and shopping, so time seems to magically disappear. I have been coming here for many years now and have never once been disappointed! Support local businesses, support folks passionate about their craft, and go...
