The Store Manager was very lackluster and would not even make an attempt to assist. I'm so very disappointed in their service and have opted not to patronize again. I purchased a $700 luxury designer bag online. I received it crumpled in a box AND without any tags or authentication materials as per the usual. I took the bag back to be returned as per the instruction of their main customer support number. I get there and was advised that she would not take the return because it had no tags...which was the exact reason I didn't want it. She told me I needed to leave the bag with her, here in Atlanta and she would call Tennessee and ask the manager if he remembers the order. I confirmed her statement and you guessed it, I understood correctly! She was gonna call and him if he remembers the purse. I said, " you're telling me he's going to remember packing this purse and sending it to me?" Her response was, "yes, he knows the stock." How dumb does this really sound? I had to call the main number back to request a supervisor to advise of the situation. She even thought it was the dumbest thing she'd ever heard! She even offered to speak with the store to get the return done and the Store Manager declined that option. She went out of her way to in her words "put me at ease" that she does this everyday after the person from the main number remedied the situation. If you do this everyday then there's an issue if Nordstrom is sending out Luxury Designer Bags with no tags, paperwork, or packing slips. I'm most certain that had my skin been of a different color the effort, process, and conversation would've gone differently. Go to Bloomingdale's and save yourself the...
Read morethe manager at this place is extremely rude and disrespectful. my mother has made a huge purchase with a very respectful, good, and quick worker Chan and the manager (i think her name was Lang but due to her arguing with my mother it was hard to tell) came up and suggested a 5% discount with a card. there was an error and it couldn't be processed and the purchase (around a grand worth of clothes) had to be rung up again. this is fine, however instead of helping the manager decides to breathe down the poor cashiers neck and whisper something that began to upset her. at that point my mother told the manager to leave her alone and to leave since she only caused double the work with no help. the manager left for a second but then came back again and resumed hovering over Chan. my mother started to get upset and, again, told her to leave her alone and that she's the only one that's doing a good job and that she's a bad manager (along with some other stuff) after which the manager started showing attitude with a "yea, yea i'm a bad manager sure yea" and reluctantly gave us her name. we ended up finally leaving and here i am writing this since we're not sure how else to report this. if u see a shorter lady with a ponytail and a black face mask...
Read moreStore is clean and has a lot to offer. Found some really good deals. I will say though the employees are RUDE!! We had one guy up my daughter and I's rears in the shoe dept in the aisle. Basically felt like we couldn't continue to look for shoes because we were clearly in his way or he was watching us and there was clearly nothing worth watching. Then my daughter tried something on in the fitting room. I gave back to one of the girls the hanger for the item we were purchasing and she straight up ignored us. Didn't acknowledge us and she knew we were talking to her. At least the younger of the two ladies was nice enough to help. The only friendly associate we encountered. Then we went to checkout and the same thing, the cashier didn't acknowledge/ greet us or nothing. Even told her to have a nice day as we were leaving and still nothing. I mean at least greet your customers and say hello and thank you for shopping with us or have a nice day. I'll be back because I like the store but I definitely don't have much to say about the employees. Maybe I'll be just as stand offish with them next time. They definitely need a refresher in...
