A group of friends and I were going to this store and on the window it said it was open until 5:00PM and it was 4:30PM but when we went to the door it was locked. So we pushed on the door and a group of people on the inside just stared at us so we then knocked and when we did a lady with a very mean expression came quickly to the door and opened it. She immediately yelled at us, saying something along the lines of “We are closed. If you could read you would see that it says closed on the door! We are having a business meeting!” in a very angry tone. There were a bunch of notes on the door and we had read them and no where on the door did it say closed. She was very rude and not welcoming. Read moreI've donated frequently to this store. Prior to today, I've enjoyed my shopping experience, and prices of books are exceptionally good. The divisive atmosphere today does not flow with my previous shopping experiences...the cashier loudly complained to a customer about the mask mandate and the governor and the "dems".. Neither wore masks, despite the sign at the door saying masks were mandatory. Between the lack of social distancing( the same maskless customer stood right next to me in the book section) and the angry cashier I ended my shopping trip not even spending a dollar.
