Iâve only ever had great service at this location. My quarrel is with the customer service.
I have been a T-mobile customer since august 2020. Apparently My account had been set up incorrectly (I have 3 phones) and I have been paying each phone individually instead of being placed on a family plan. So I went into this store and was made aware of this to which I was told they couldnât help me in store due to the limited things the experts within the store can do. After leaving I called the customer service line, and was placed on hold for 2 hours (okay fine I get it. They are busy thatâs not my issue) I explained my issue with an expert and he had assured me that my issue would be fixed, my service would be turned back on, and this particular expert would put through an escalation. I waited to hear back the news and never got a call back. So December 24th I called and spoke with a lady and she had said the first escalation was not sent through. So she had placed another one. Same thing happened⌠didnât hear anything back.
Long story short, T-Mobile needs to make it easier to get help from customer service. I switched from Verizon and wish I never would have switched.

   Read moreToday I was helped by a man who deserves a raise. His name was Brandon. I called ahead of time and let Brandon know what exactly I needed. When I walked into the store, he already had the phone ready. Everything went very quickly. I have had an Apple Phone for as long as I can remember but Brandon still helped me or did everything for me. He made purchasing a 2nd phone easier than I ever imagined it would be. He even downloaded apps he knew I would need immediately. Brandon knows exactly what he is doing and he is excellent at it. Please give this man raise. He has excellent customer service and answered every question I had. Unfortunately not by choice, I was a little bit preoccupied, but Brandon was patient with me. I walked in the store like everybody walks into phone stories leary abkut something, and I walked out of the store with a smile on my face, knowing if I ever needed anything, Brandon would take care of it for me!    Read moreThe manager is horrible. He's rude, offensive, and down right obnoxious. The way he talks to not only the other stuff but the customers in awful. I've had 2 experiences with this store. First time I was told I would never find the Samsung S22 ultra I wanted and I should go with a downgraded phone. Was just assuming we knew nothing about technology or the devices themselves. I'm a software engineer and capable of choosing the right phone for me. We then went to the store on e 14th st in des Moines. Found the phone we wanted and had the absolute best service. The device had to be swapped for a warranty replacement and we were sent back to the altoona store for the exchange. Again, manager was working. So unbelievably offensive and obnoxious that I felt the need to leave a review. T mobile is great. Everything about T mobile is lovely except this one manager. He makes shopping at that...
