Altoona Smoke and Vape — Local services in Altoona

Just updating my last review. I’m not sure what’s going on, kinda sad cuz I like to try to use a local business, but the stuff I was purchasing here the last year or so was reasonably priced, not too much more than ordering online, or other vape shops I go to. But in the last week some of the stuff has gone up almost double, from 45 to 75, when online it’s still 39-42 for the same brand and amount etc. even with next day shipping I’d still save money going online. Looks like new people bought it a couple weeks ago, but literally In the last week since I came in Monday the stuff I was purchasing went up that much. Not just a couple bucks here or there like what was happening before. A gradual increase. So sadly this was probably the last time I’ll be here. There’s other shops I know are way cheaper but I will just probably get it online. I think they’re probably going to lose some business doing it like this but what do I know. The other day when I was there another customer was mad cuz of a price increase as well. The one guy was nice who was working both times, and I don’t think it’s his doing or fault. But yeah, just heads up if you are used to paying 45$ for something that was a “decent” deal now it’s 30 bucks more, but it still costs the same from their supplier, and online vendors, and other vape shops. I ended up not getting what I wanted and got something else, they still made a little money off me I’m sure, but instead of getting a 4-600$ sale it wasn’t near what it was going to be since I can go elsewhere. I personally would prefer to continue coming here as I said I’d rather give a local store owner my business instead of going online even if it was going to cost me a few extra bucks I’d still come in but as much business I was giving then I can’t do it and won’t. If they were the only place to get it that’s one thing but they aren’t. That’s what is baffling. There’s the internet lol. I just compared online where I used to order, I can get 10 bottles of this same brand with expedited shipping for under 400. The price I would have paid Monday at this vape shop would have e been about 490. Today it would have cost me approximately 750$ plus tax. For what was 490$btwi days ago. That’s why I stopped goin online and coming here because yea it might cost me a little more but I got it that day and gave a local shop business. But with expedited shipping I only have to wait 2-3 days or I can go to the other shop I frequent abandoned it’s only 6& more per pack than what it used to be here. ( was 45 here it’s 51 in dsm still ) just sucks that the place that used to be fair pricing that I liked going to is now the most expensive shop I have been to all within a few days, abd I’ve been to different shops all over this country as I travel for work and like seeing what other states have. They had a nice selection but I personally can’t justify Spending that much more while receiving less just to go to the place I...

Every time I walked into the store, there were no less than four people working. Diligently trying to help each and every customer find exactly what they want. The last time I walked in there, there was one individual. He didn’t speak my language. He had no idea what I needed. Nor did he care. This used to be a great place to get vapes and related products, Now it’s just another store taken over by somebody that doesn’t give a crap about Americans. This man had the audacity (after purchasing this business without knowing a damn thing about it) to tell me that I should know the part numbers on everything I purchase there. I kindly explained to him that I don’t work there, he does. He didn’t take very kindly to that. During this entire communication, he was attempting to grab my vape THE PART THAT I PUT IN MY MOUTH from my hand. I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE THIS MAN’S HANDS HAVE BEEN!! And you want to touch my vape?!?! Boy, please!! Rest assured, my shadow will never darken your door again....

Okay, so I've moved to this town. I am a regular elsewhere in Des Moines. Due to limited funds, I went here, locally, to find a solution to my upcoming flight issue. You see, the vape juice I get, only comes in 120mL. So I asked them to help me find a cheap substitute for my flight and trip. The one young lady asked what size and I told her they have to be under 100mL so a 60mL is what I probably should get. She asks me to hang on a minute and goes in back. A cpl minutes later and she comes out with 2 brand new bottle containers and asks if that size works. I said yes, thank you! I asked her how much they were and she shook her head. I was able to get MY juice and thanks to this lovely young lady, I don't have to settle for my juice and vape needs! This is only the second time that I've been in there but the first time I went in as a customer. It was a fantastic experience for my first transaction with your company....
