Lillie's Boutique — Local services in Amarillo

This boutique is very cute and all, but i had an issue with guest service. I bought a dress for my graduation and soon found out my friend got the same one. I wanted to get a different one and return the dress. I called ahead of time and they said they would do it and give me store credit. I brought the dress in and realized it didn’t have its tag. I went back home and had found the tag and receipt undamaged. The tag was originally on the dress with a safety pin, so I just put it back on. I have never wore the dress and just look the pin off to try it on. I go back to the store to do the return for store credit to be turned away. I was told that they can not do the return, because the tag was taken off. I don’t understand why this is so. The tag was put back on, just as found it and nothing is wrong with the dress. If i never came in the first time, they would have never known about the tag. This puts me in a difficult situation, as I spent a pretty penny on this dress and now it will never be wore. I understand there is policy, but they would have never known the tag was off as it is on a safety pin just like I bought it. The boutique did not seem to care and did nothing to help.I would also like it to be noted that came on the short time of 7 days, as that is their policy! In other words I feel that I was not cared for as a customer.

I never write reviews but i feel mistreated as a customer. it is a great shop but this became a problem I understand there is a policy, but i would think there would be some care. I have never felt so disrespected in my life. I had gift card that giving to me from my sister in-law and I was so excited to go in shop here cause they have the cutest clothes,but that all changed when the girl walked up and asked if there was something I was looking for and I was like no just wanted to spend my birthday gift card in here and see what else you had that I wanted and she was like “oh” real rude and stuck up and I was like ok just another high school girl thinking she is better than everyone. So I then I just keep looking around and I felt like I had eyes watching and I looked they were just watching every move I made. Some girl with brown hair really made me feel uncomfortable just staring at me looking at me from head to toe and watching every move I made. Sorry if I wasn’t a size 0 or if I wasn’t rich enough for you to be in the store. I seriously just wanted to tell them to give me my money from the gift card so I could go shop at the Buckle or Dillard’s for the price I was paying for I get name brand.At least have people respect me there and kind and not rude like you were.But I went ahead and hurry up and got a sweater cause I sure wasn’t going to ask if could try on anything and got Heck out there. I have told my friends and family and coworkers and they will not be going to that store either after what happened to me. I have shopped at this store a lot. The young ladies that work there are great. Now the owner apparently not so great. I went there yesterday just before opening and waited for the store to be opened. The owner arrives and goes to open the store as I’m standing there at the entrance. As she opens the door I asked her if it’s okay that I come in because I didn’t want to rush or anything. She proceeds to ask me “ what are you here for?” I was a little taken aback and so I said “ this is a clothing store correct?” She says “ yeah for women” I reply “ I have wife” then I just said never mind and walked off and told her that her question was silly. Across the way there’s another boutique called Trendz Boutique. So I drove off and went there to shop. You would think that’s the end of the whole ordeal but no. Whatever the owners name is proceeds to call over there and ask the worker if “she feels safe” obviously talking about me. Now make of that what you will but I know how it appears. So I’ll gladly not shop here again so as not to appear threatening to the owner. Go shop at Trendz they have better...
