TA Truck Service — Local services in Amarillo

First off I want to start off by saying I stopped in to get a steer wheel seal replaced on my truck, the service counter was very professional and easy to deal with, customer service was exceptional, this is the best experience I have had at a TA ever, Gary was my tech on my truck there on 2/4/2025 him and the gentleman who wrote my ticket up where awesome, including the other guys that was assisting him with my truck, they made sure everything was right before it left the shop, as I left the shop and went to my hotel, I checked the oil before I went inside pulled the cap it was a little low, (that’s typical) I filled it up went to put the plug back in and the glass on the cap broke, I called them back up and explained and they was back to me in 15 mins with a new part and got me fixed right back up, these guys went out of there way for a excellent customer service satisfaction, I will forever be a customer anytime I come though Amarillo and need work done, everything they did was fair priced and did not try and overcharge me, the shop when I was in there was very clean and organized as well the employees seemed very knowledgeable, and I say this because i have a shop down in Fort Worth where I live where I typically work on my own equipment, so with that being said I highly...

The best TA EXPERIENCE I’ve had in all of the US. Oklahoma was my favorite before but this one is the one for me now. I will be coming here every month for my PM service now.

Manager Luke was super professional and attentive. Gave me all the information I needed. Ultimate is the way to go. He’s great with all the customers and made sure everything was solid. Day shift for the win.

Mechanic Marques was great and made sure all my oil levels were tip top. He showed me all the work he did and made sure everything the ultimate package offered was met. Very respectful and professional.

I have a 2025 Kenworth with a Cummins engine and these guys took care of it well. There’s also an older gentleman, I believe his name was John. You’ll know when you see him. He’s like the epitome of an all American mechanic. He has a lot of experience with old school trucks so for anyone who needs the old school trucks looked at he’s the one to go to.

Our drivers had a short in the pig tail. Brought the truck here. I told the shop when they called me for repair authorization that I just wanted the pigtail and receptacle replaced. They said OK. 2.5 hours of labor later they called me to tell me they need authorization to debug our wiring because the F9 fuse kept blowing. I asked if they replaced the pig tail/receptacle and they said no. I told them to just do what I asked...and they did, and everything works fine. Then they charge me for the labor for work I didn't want done in the first place... $400 to replace the pigtail receptacle and cord... you will really need to hold their hands here to.make sure they don't just Nicole and dime...
