If i get one more prank call from 414-9800 im contacting the police. As far as how we have been treated by pediatrics for 13 yrs, id take away that star. Ive had to contact insurance over 10 times for unprofessional & unethical conduct by this dept. over the years including violations of federal law. There are over 1000 erroneous entries in my childrens medical records & have spent nearly 100 hours auditing & logging ammendments to be made. The overall opinion is that medicaid patients are guinea pigs & they hold absolute authority to force patients onto a treatment or the parent faces consequences (billing/cancelled appts/appts made without notice/delayed treatment/denied referrals/defamatory & false accusations). We have seen over 50 different physicians in this department alone. They assume if you dont spend money on your hair or nails or makeup but your kids clothes, that youre stupid. They expect you to have a completely open schedule & require you to take off work/training on 24hr notice. If you miss the appt they never told you about, youre penalized. If you call asking for child to be seen, reception already assumes they know who you are once you give them patient information. I know i have +6 yrs more education than most & ive put up with much of the raunchy attitude. I wont be choosing Texas tech medical school when my kids graduate. Ill go out of state for md residency program knowing how loose/shady the regulation is at this location. Youre a school for medical doctors but betray your own oath daily.

On a side note, it doesnt matter if you shred the forged documents that doctors put in our records. Ive got copies & will be reporting to Texas Medical board of examiners when im done with my...

Love it here. Great doctors and nurses, and caring people always. Remember, everyone to leave positive reviews even if you had a bad experience let's work together as patients and tell these medical professionals how much we appreciate them! Times are rough and covid has forever changed the way we live and look at things. Doctors work round the clock without complaining doing their best not only for you, but for countless others as well so do your nurses and other medical care team members. God bless all medical professionals in all that they do for all of us in this great time of need! I just wanted to add that I hope everyone feels Blessed to have these great doctors in this area. Especially those who live in small towns,when you live in a small town , you often have to travel out of town for good medical care. and sometimes those trips equal different distances, some far and some near. So Families should feel blessed That Texas Tech Is here to serve you for all your medical needs.. That's just my opinion. but maybe some of you will agree. This place is just so disorganized and inept. I just tried to set up an appointment for my son for some allergy testing, and it got turned into a check up. Which I know I took him to, but she claimed I didn't. I HAD to for daycare. Whatever. I asked, "Are they gonna look into the allergy testing, too?" And the lady straight up told me she didn't know, but she'd put it in the notes. The REASON I called was for allergy testing. I understand if they may need to send me elsewhere for a referral, but don't make the appointment for something else and then add notes for my main concern! Now that my son is on different insurance, I plan on taking him to a place where the staff isn't a bunch of idiots who couldn't actually make it in the medical field. Most of the doctors are rude and don't take the time to understand what is going on. The ONLY saving grace has been the doctor my son has seen the past year or so. She talks directly to him, asks him the questions, and listens to what he has to say. But even she isn't worth the hassle anymore.
