I was a new patient with my new insurance, first appt was odd as the Dr Burson just kept asking what can I do for you, I thought it was a new patient consultation, so I started discussing a med issue and her response was if you don't like it, donât take it, wow, then she said if thereâs nothing else than I have patients waiting??? So I told the front desk she would not work out and they offered me another doctor. So I seen Dr. Odell I thought he was a really good doctor very intelligent young and a very good bedside manner so to speak seemed on top of his game. However, it was a struggle for three weeks to try to get my meds all called in. I had to call every day to ask them to please finish calling in my medicationâs. I got two then one then another one over a couple weeks Then I got three called into two different pharmacies and I had to cancel them at one and go pick them up at the other than the dosage was wrong and the supply was wrong so I had to have that corrected then I was still missing one medication that I was running out of, and I ended up being without that medication for almost a week. It was always a struggle. I was never allowed to talk to the doctor even though I had sent two messages in their portal and they were never responded to. I was told for six days I was getting a call back. I did finally get a callback from the medical assistant or nurse assistant. Iâm not sure exactly what her title was. She was always rude and would tell me things that would never take place so it was a difficult challenge at best and didnât make any sense. Iâve never had to call every single day just to try to get medicationâs called in no patient should ever be left without medication and a lack of concern from this lady and from the office was unbelievable. I had asked for the office manager, but I wasnât given her she doesnât get on the phone apparently , I even saw the IT person they had for the portal who said there were no messages sent to me and the lady said that she sent me two messages and they verified there were none. Then she changed her story and said she had responded to one message, but there were still no messages. I donât know whatâs happening in this world that the lack of care is unbelievable and...
Read moreDr. Abby Leake is a horrible Dr. I had my appointments cancelled with less than an hour to go after waiting 8 days. She failed to keep my records up to date in both my condition and medications. She quadruple my blood pressure medicine and I was concerned. After checking my records online I saw that she hadn't updated her last increase and still showed 10mg instead of 20mg. She prescribe a meloxicam twice and made no mention of the severe risks involved with taking warfarin. I was unwilling to take the risk (something she didn't tell me) and my pharmacist was upset and was going to call her and refuse to fill it. Then she prescribed it again. It just gets worse. I don't have insurance and thought I was lucky finding this place. I am unable to work and financially strapped. I can't help but feel like she was trying to run me off by treating me badly and making misdiagnoses. I have a lot of health issues that did not get taken care of because of the mistreatment I received at the hands of Dr. Leake. I emailed her about a problem and she asked me to come in at 5PM when they turn into an emergency clinic. She misdiagnosed my foot saying it was severely infected and told me to go the the ER. I said it was more of a sprain and could we wait and see. She said I needed to go right now. I am diabetic and worry about loosing a foot or more. She scared me so bad I went. The ER Dr took one look and said it looks more like a sprain and I said that's what I told her and when I told him I was sent from an emergency clinic he just shook his head. So on top of my financial stress I had to add 9000+ to what I owe. She is a Board Certified Dr (BCD)but does not go by their code of conduct. I have talked to two other BCD and asked how easy it would be to make that same misdiagnosis and they said a mistake shouldn't be possible but there could be circumstances where it might happen. I then show them the Photos of my foot from that night and they both asked me who my lawyer was. I am filing a full report with the American Medical Association. There is more but I think I have said...
Read moreI normally see Dr. Allman and she has always been great! Iâve gone to her for a few years now and never had any issues. This review isnât about her, itâs about the nurse practitioner I saw because Dr. Allman wasnât available. I messed up my nose pretty badly, so I had to be seen by my primary physician in order to be referred to an ENT specialist. The NP Bromwell didnât do any physical exam on my nose, instead said she wanted to do X-rays. (Which from everything Iâve heard is almost completely useless when it comes to the nose since itâs mostly cartilage.) She said she couldnât see any fracture on the X-ray and that thereâs no reason to refer me. Because it âshould heal on its ownâ. This wouldnât be an issue if you couldnât visually see how crooked my nose is. It is completely jacked up, when facing forward the bridge of my nose is pushed to the left. It also feels like I canât breath, and hurts like hell. I had to argue with her and insist that she give me the referral to the ENT. I then asked her to feel my nose, because she still hadnât.. to which she replied well I can see that itâs crooked and then barely touched it. This is the only exam she did besides the xrays. I feel like it was completely irresponsible for her to make this decision solely based off X-rays. Even if it may heal on its own, it is my choice on whether I want to live the rest of my life with a crooked nose. It is also my choice if I want to have the ENT look at it and actually do a...
