I didn't even know this coffee shop was here until I heard about an art show that was happening there last Friday night. My great niece was involved so I wanted to go and show her support. I purposely didn't eat before I went there so I could order something from the place to help them out also. I got the chicken salad sandwich and a special made me and iced coffee from an Americano coffee. The art show was fantastic and they even had a string trio or quartet, I can't remember which, that played all evening and the music was beautiful. I think her art is going to be displayed through the end of November, 2022. The coffee was delicious and so was the chicken salad sandwich. I saw other things on the menu that looked really good so I hope I get back there to try them. Maybe there will be another art show to go to or maybe I'll just stop by when I'm in the area. They aren't that far from me. I highly...

So, I want to preface this by saying I just complimented the staff a couple weeks ago and thanked them for being open until 9 and serving a nice variety of food options in the evening because "Eightbucks" packs snacks up at 5 and theirs tastes like the packages they come in. Strata's seemed much fresher and the staff are friendly, unlike the chains that basically hate you. Now that Strata just reduced their hours to closing at 6 & 7 pm, we have no coffee shops (that I know of) where we're able to just sit a spell, have a quiet convo with friends after I put kids to bed and avoid the blaring noise of other coffee shops. That's why I took away a star. The other quiet ones close at 2pm or are open late but have obscene art. You KNOW which one I'm talking about. So, y'all, please change your hours back to later. We need local quiet coffee...

First time going, ordered at drive thru. Employee was super friendly, menu was easy to read. Not a long line, this was about 2pm. Ordered 2 frappes, a large and a medium. Can't honestly say that my teenager nor myself enjoyed them. We each drank maybe a quarter of them. Much too sweet, couldn't taste any espresso, honestly tasted like a chocolate shake, but not a good one. Will definitely give it another try, another day, a different drink. Both employees were really nice, which is the only reason I'd go back. I love frappes, but these were so sweet and thick, with not much taste other than cocoa an d sugar, which is great in a sundae, ice cream cone, candy bar, brownie, etc... but I like a coffee based drink to have even the tiniest hint of coffee. ...

Happen on this neat coffee shop today on our way through Amarillo! Looking for a local owned non-franchise shop and so pleased to find Strata. Coffee drinks were well done, and food was a very pleasant surprise. Cubano sandwich made with real chunks of carved ham (not the more predictable processed luncheon meet), stone ground mustard, pickles, etc. Delicious. Got ours to-go today, but just the kind of great atmosphere you’d love to hang out, have a coffee and catch up on email or news. Didn’t get to meet the owner “Ty” and his brother who I assume were enjoying a well deserved Sunday off, but Tara took really good care of us. Well done! Will be back for sure!

We spent one night in Amarillo and on the way out stopped here for breakfast. I got the berry green tea which is so delicious and the croissant egg bacon cheese sandwich. That sandwich was beyond flavorful. The eggs were fluffy and seasoned really well. Bacon crisp. The croissant was buttery. A good indulgence! Loved the tea too. A little too sweet for me, but not docking any stars for my personal preferences. Lastly, the staff was incredibly thoughtful and nice! Quick service through the drive thru as well. Thanks, Strata!

Stopped at this coffee shop in Amarillo on my way to Colorado and loved it! The owner was super friendly and helpful. The place felt cozy, and I wish we’d had time to sit and enjoy it. They have a big selection of syrups, and I was so happy to see soy milk on the menu since it’s not always easy to find. I ordered an iced latte with brown sugar cinnamon, half sweet, and it was perfectly balanced and delicious. Definitely worth a stop!
