I went to Greenery Design to order funeral flowers & a woman there wrote down everything I told her. I was extremely pleased with the look of the flowers. One was heart shape flowers, all white, from a great grandson. The card said from your great grandson but the tail from the ribbon had grandson written in black on it, which I didn't ask for plus it should of said great grandson like the card. Before the wake started I had to cut that tail off. The 2nd flower arrangement was also all white & beautiful but the card didn't even have my name right but when ordered it they had the right name. My name is Roxanne, they had Rosanne on card & they had Kassie's name as Cassie & I also gave them the correct spelling which I seen her write down. I was extremely disappointed because the woman had all the correct info written down before but at the funeral home it was all wrong. It's a nice enough looking shop, but I was a bit disturbed by the guy working there. Started talking ok, but when I shared I wasn't a local and asked about some strange signs out front bashing some guy (the target's face was even on the sign) I was told to mind my business if I'm not from town. My little niece seemed upset by the vibe. We're were visiting a friend in town and when we arrived (without flowers and with apologies), she said this is pretty much the norm there and explained the signs were political as he hates the Mayor and anyone supporting her(the guy is apparently a longtime counselor that supports the Mayor), and also had directly insulted and creeped out her underage daughter a while back during her own final visit. She actually apologized for not warning me about it, and won't even review out of fear of retaliation and being put on a sign. I don't blame her! Anyway, we won't be back.
