I LOVE THIS AUCTION HOUSE!!!

The staff is warm, loving and professional. I signed up to do phone bidding and they were very kind and gave excellent advice as I live in Canada and they recommended Bernie to drive items into Canada...what a great service to offer a buyer!!

I really enjoyed talking to all the staff and it felt like I have known them my whole life; like a relative that I can't wait to talk to. The gentleman that called to do the phone bidding was so polite and great to talk to, while quickly executing my bids perfectly; additionally, I won!

I did read the comment someone made about internet bidding and there are lots of costs involved in this for the Auction house so yes it costs more then phone or absentee bidding; so do phone bidding or absentee is my suggestion to that person and don't get upset with the Auction House as you decided to do internet bidding and 3% is not much.

VERY IMPRESSED with the Auction estimates. It is very hard to give a price range the item will sell for but they are VERY accurate; much more precise then any other Auction House I have seen, and I have bid with hundreds--Bravo for that. Often Auctions give very low estimates to try to attract more bidders or give very high estimates to convince a consignor they will get more than they will to get them to give the item to sell-- THE AUCTION HOUSE DOES NOT PLAY ANY GAMES THAT SO MANY OTHERS DO!

The selection of Antiques, Art and Collectibles are outstanding, as are, the VERY accurate pictures posted by the Auction showing the damage if any. This is also VERY rare as most auctions hide damage or make the item look better than it does, so they are HIGHLY RATED FOR HONESTLY and accuracy in pictures and descriptions!!

VERY IMPRESSED with the prices they achieve for the antiques!!! I plan to consign with them also now!! They try very hard get the best price they can for the consignor and this is very obvious to me while remaining honest--WHAT A RARE COMBINATION. The value for the buyer is also excellent as you get great quality and rare items for a great price.

To me they are wonderfully old-school having integrity, polish and charm that, other then this auction house, rarely exists anymore.

I wish all auction houses were like John McInnis Auctioneers!!!

I watched online waiting for my phone bid and looked at the wonderful Antiques in-front of the Auctioneer. It was like watching a old movie with sumptuous, lavish furnishings and decorative objects, producing a very captivating experience. Just wish I could have been there in-person but plan to visit in the coming year and make a mini-holiday out of it.

I contacted :McGinnis in 2014 while downsizing to move to Riverwoods in Exeter NH. The rep hardly gave us a few moments consideration, ignored a few very nice antique pieces, and our mid century furniture - purchased for $75,000+. And still holding value. I would not recommend...
