Nice park, I went their for Disc Golf, and some walking trails and kids play grounds share the space around a couple ponds. The disc golf course is moderate difficulty (the closest high difficulty course would be in Haverhill). The kids play ground looks recently updated in 2018. There is also a baseball field and a Skate park. The skate park is roughly 20-25 years old, with kickers, table tops, rails, and pyramids. No bowls. (closest bowl park is Newburyport). Decent amount of parking in a couple areas around the park. Some green fields, some wooded area, which is nice to see preserved as the population density of the area continues to increase. Just down the street from the police and fire station make this a safe park in the day, but the lower income, dense apartment style multistory buildings across the street make it slightly questionable at night, albeit overall a very fun, clean,...
Read moreGreat little course! Mostly wooded, but wide fairways in the woods. This course also has some truly open holes and even a few water hazards, so a bit of everything.
One of the best things about this course is also the worst: how close the hole layouts overlap. It's possible to play a few holes, then find that you're throwing near another party playing through a hole a few holes before. They've so far dealt with this by putting up signs warning people of the danger. On the plus side, since all the holes are so close together, it's possible to get in and out of the 18 hole course in 45 minutes, which means you could easily get a couple of rounds in in less than two hours.
Also, a very popular course, lots of folks playing through! Bring the kids to go on the nice playground...
Read moreThis a seriously amazing park! It has play structures for every age and is made out of materials that don't get crazy hot in the sun. For the biggest kids there's a mini rock wall and super cool climbing structure. There are a ton of swings and loads of benches. There's a section of benches with a canopy over it for shade and a bunch more under some nice big trees. Best of all they have a splash pad! There's a tube like thing that mists for the little ones and some big jets that shoot up for the older kids. There's also a nice walking path by a small man made pond. Before they renovated there was frisbee golf though I'm not sure if that's still there. And they also have a public restroom. My pictures won't do it justice,...
