We have purchased carpeting and tile from Summerlin’s for many years and have always appreciated their advice and competence, but these past few days their service was above and beyond. Here are the details. We had an unexpected emergency a week ago, prior to an event which needs the house in pristine order. A leaky water meter had soaked a downstairs office carpet and molding. The water meter was repaired on Tuesday, the house was certified dry by 11:30 am Friday. By 11:50 am Friday I was at Summerlin’s, explaining the situation. With Aimee’s and Ann’s help, new carpeting that could be delivered quickly was chosen, room measurements were verified, new molding was purchased, and an order placed. All by late afternoon Friday. By Tuesday am John was expertly installing the carpet. One slight hitch: the threshold now prevented the door from closing. Brandon returned the next morning to shave off a bit of the door bottom. Noticing a a duster nearby, he then brushed the door glass panels of residue sawdust! By mid- morning Wednesday, all was done. Beautifully. Do you need any more reason for...
Read moreWe chose a stair runner at the store which we liked, and the ordering process was personalized and easy. It turns out that the style of carpet we wanted is actually quite difficult to install on stairs, especially our unusual, old stairs. The fellow who came and took measurements was very careful and took his time. After installation, I noticed a few aberrations such as visible nails and lumpy joints. I was immediately assisted by the owner. She provided some options to remediate the installation, and gave us plenty of time to consider. We decided to keep the carpet but remove some of the eyesores. Branden came to our house and spent several hours scrutinizing each step and painstakingly concealing staples. Now our stair runner looks awesome, even though we have a challenging staircase and low-pile carpet. I included these details because the company, especially Ann and Branden, did an excellent job on a challenging project, and went the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied with the work....
Read moreThe four men crew that installed our carpets treated my wife and I so incredibly bad. My wife is 38 weeks pregnant and obviously can’t lift anything. We informed the individual who came over for the measurements before hand, that we would need help carrying some items out of the rooms. The man that is balled with a beard, nearly broke our toddlers bed. He pulled the bed away from me and made a mark in my toddlers wall. He was so angry that he had to move two items out of the rooms. He stared directly in my eyes and said “ do you have a problem, do something”. I have never been treated like this before by a company, it was extremely disrespectful and borderline a little weird to be honest. The job wasn’t even done that well, especially with the mess they made. If you want to be treated so bad and not even get good looking carpets, then I wouldn’t use summerlin floors. He left a mess in the rooms and outside of our house and I had to clean for an...
