Hobby Lobby — Local services in Anaheim

It’s like a Michael’s but different. Great for people with certain hobbies from car modeling, diy’s, painting, crochet/knitting and home decor. They always have seasonal decor and year round Christmas decor (from the times I’ve gone during different seasons).

This place is heavy on the home decor with a bunch of things to hang on the wall or things to place on your coffee table?

Don’t be fooled by the prices though, hobby lobby has the habit of pricing the same item differently so make sure you look through all the items and take the cheapest one.

There’s also a perpetual sale going on each week. It’s like a rotation of sections. One week toy models are 40% off the next it’s Christmas’s door wreaths, and the following will be buy 1 get one 50% off on scented candles and essential oils.

Would go back again for the deals on toy/car models. If they carried more hobby baseball cards, then I would be a repeating costumer.

Regarding staff and customer service, nothing exceptional and nothing underwhelming. They appear to be a good team and doing their job. Didn’t interact much with them.

Overall, would return again giving it a rating of 5/5 stars with heavy on the “it’s giving consumerism”

MY NEW FAVORITE STORE FOR ALL THINGS BEADY!!!

Alright, upon first glance this Hobby Lobby has such a generic store front that you probably wouldn't think about making a stop here for your DIY projects but don't let that stop you! Honestly, they have so many great things in this store and I'm really glad I gave it a chance.

I was desperately in search for number beads for my upcoming rave needs and I frantically googled and found that Hobby Lobby had some in stock. I know, who would have thought?! I gave them a phone call just to make sure it was in stock and to my delight they had them!

Bonus points for having great customer service on the phone and knowing exactly what product I was looking for!

Anyways, my trip here ended up being very successful and also very fast. The lines can get really long really quickly but there are several cashiers that can ring transactions like it's second nature to them.

The only gripe I have is that they don't have any shelves labeled which makes it really hard for you to search for your products throughout the store, but other than that I would highly recommend coming here as some of their products are actually cheaper...

Neg experience with LaShawna store manager demonstrated rude and dismissive attitude. It makes you wonder why she chose a Christian based store to work for. Seemed annoyed at customers needing a simple price check. She took FOREVER on her machine to check one toy dinosaur and demeanor showed that she felt aggravated! She may have been triggered when my 2 year old cried because the dinosaur had NO price tag and had to be left at the register. She seems so UNhappy in her job. Id suggest that she try to smile and be courteous to people. As the manager, she does not model respect or a welcoming attitude towards customers for the employees who she manages. All the contrary. The store itself is incredible 😍😒as Hobby Lobby's are! I'll be coming back with MY own positive attitude and respectful demeanor just because LIFE IS TOO beautiful to waste on nonsense.
