Egg Tuck — Restaurant in Anaheim

I was hoping we'd finally get something good in this location but I'm very disappointed. First of all, it's very overpriced. $12 for a breakfast sandwich is a bit much. The same goes for the sides and coffees. It's not set up very well either, the kitchen takes up most of the space so there's very little room for seating or even waiting for your food. It also took almost half an hour to get two sandwiches and some tater tots.

When we finally got it, the egg was undercooked and the whites were still runny. My sandwich didn't have scrambled eggs, it was more like a sunny side up egg which immediately got all over my hands and in the box as soon as I took a bite. Not really the best way to serve an egg sandwich if you actually want to eat the yolk. It was also pretty oily from the onions, patty, and all the sauces. Lastly, it had a weird sweet flavor to it.

Ended up taking a few bites and throwing it away. Don't think I'll be back to waste more of...

I only ordered for delivery but I had a very great experience with the quality of the food and the taste. I had been craving a breakfast burrito and the best one near my home is a drive and they do not deliver. I was glad to have Egg Tuck pop up in my food delivery app. I had heard of them before and was surprised to find them now in my area. Well the breakfast burrito was amazing. The egg was perfect, it's creaminess matched against the crunchy tots. Plus I added smokey bacon and cheese to round it all off. That smokey bacon really adds a layer of flavor. Really hit the spot. My friend (Kathy) and I came here after being loyal egg tuck fans since the first locations opened up on Sunset Blvd and Koreatown many years ago! We used to get the royal west sandwich and burrito, both of which had the fluffy eggs. For some reason, over time, they got rid of the fluffy eggs in these items and substituted it with a fried egg. But we asked one of the workers who was really nice and he was able to accommodate our request to change the fried egg to the fluffy eggs which was great!
