I was in search for a full size bed and mattress for my mom. She was 2 weeks away from retiring and moving back home to Anaheim from AZ after my dad died of cancer a month before. I had called up two different furniture stores in Anaheim to confirm that they would be open on a Saturday due to limited operating hours from COVID19. When I showed up to both locations on Saturday, they were closed. Luckily I found Slumber N Serenity on Yelp and I was so grateful and relieved that they took one on one appointments even during COVID19. I was very concerned that my own mom had to sleep on the couch until the furniture industry figured out how to reopen during the pandemic. Stacy was able to set me up with an appointment that Saturday afternoon. When I went both Vince and Stacy were super professional but yet very genuine people which made me feel comfortable right away. I knew what I wanted and they did not try to upsell their merchandise at all. I was able to find the perfect bed and mattress in the style that my mom wanted. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of the bed and mattress. They even delivered it for free, which was awesome! Stacy and her son delivered it to the house exactly on time, came in wearing the face masks and was able to assemble the bed in 30 min. My mom absolutely LOVED her bed frame and mattress. Highly recommend this family owned business providing excellent customer service and great prices without aggressive sales tactics or upselling! I stopped by with my mom, a few minutes before they closed. They allowed us to browse at our leisure. Respectfully directed their questions to my elderly disability mom, the customer, instead of me. Patiently communicating with her via her written responses because of her speech disability. Asked what she was looking for and ultimately helped her decide between a more expensive vs less expensive option, recommending the least expensive one!! They provided delivery in days and went way above and beyond for delivery and set up. One of the owners accompanied the delivery guys and offered to help my mom with other heavy things that needed to be moved. He made sure she understood how to use the bed controls. He genuinely complemented her art work and landscaping, and he insisted I contact him if my mom had any problems with the bed. The husband and wife owners treated my mom like a precious family member. I get the sense that’s how they do business for all. Don’t use a big box bed & mattress store. I will make this short and sweet, but I feel compelled to write this so everyone knows what a unique and caring and righteous company Vince and Stacy run. I purchased a mattress over a year ago from them because a close friend of mine said this is the place for high quality at a great price. I truly have had the best, deepest sleep on my mattress and all of my back pain has subsided. A few days ago out of the blue I received a call from Vince. He informed me that I may have a mattress that was manufactured in a 2 day time span where a certain component in the mattress could possibly be defective causing the mattress to wear prematurely. I informed him I had no idea and the mattress still looked and felt brand new. He asked if he could replace it with a brand new one, simply as a precaution just in case. The very next day he brought out a brand new mattress. All I can say is who does this?? Seriously? Vince and Stacy not only sell great product at a great price, but they absolutely care about their customers and 100% stand by their products.
