Booked a last minute trip to Disneyland didn't want to spend a bunch of money on the hotel I came across this embassy suites. I have stayed many times at a embassy suites and never was disappointed. This hotel is a big disappointed in every way! Location is not great for Disneyland it's like a 18 minute drive. Hotel shares a parking lot with a night club which I was very nervous leaving my car outside. We walked up to the front door of the hotel and we were hit in the face with a sewer smell GROSS. Then I noticed towels hanging from several different balconies and the hotel decor from the outside was not appealing. I felt like it was an apartment building not a "3.5-4 star hotel" I checked in late because we spent all day at Disney when we arrived I was informed the hotel is completely booked and only 1 room is available and there is no AC! After being in the heat and sun all day that's not something you want to hear. The front desk said I can cancel at no charge but it's almost midnight my family & I are exhausted I didn't have the energy to try to find another hotel. Then I was offered half off both nights I booked. I decided to do that because I was stuck I had no energy to find another hotel my kids needed to take a bath & go to sleep for another day of Disneyland. The 2nd we walked into the room it had a bad odor and it was very muggy I thought it was just because no AC. My daughter used the bathroom the toilet paper roll fell off the holder and didn't stay on. No biggie then I went to the bath and there was hairs in the base of the tub GROSS then I went to the front of the room to talk to my husband and noticed the sofa was dirty with spots of dirt. By this time I'm so tired and just want to sleep I went to find bedding for my daughter to sleep on the sofa couch THERE'S NO BLANKETS OR SHEETS OR PILLOWS ANYWHERE. I was informed the hotel was completely out of pillows my kids had no pillows for the night. How does HILTON let this hotel destroy their name!? Looking everywhere for bedding for the sofa couch that I booked the room to use I found the room not be cleaned. The microwave was dirty , the fridge was smelly there was stuff left from previous people between the sofa couch and under the beds, the phone cord was broken the phone didnt work AT THIS point I was DONE. I didn't get pictures because I wanted to run out of that room I was so grossed out! I immediately went to the front desk and I wanted to cancel my second night I had no choice but to sleep there the 1st night. I was told since I booked with a 3rd party I would have to call them so I did. Which was a waste of time I will never book with a 3rd party again! Thankfully there was an amazing gal at the front desk and she saved my 2 days! She was so caring and thoughtful and had sympathy of what we were going through. She definitely DESERVES A RAISE shs had the BEST customer service she went over and beyond to help us! She was able to find us a room with AC and bedding for my kids! Walking into this other room was like night/day compared to the 1st room! But don't get me wrong this room had issues too but I felt like it had a little more cleaning than the 1st. The carpet in the hallways of the hotel are stained dark like the carpet needs a deep cleaning! My husband loves embassy's breakfast but the 2 days we stayed there we did not eat the breakfast or get the evenings drinks/ snacks. None of looked appealing or appetizing This hotel is 100% a 2 star hotel and is NOT even close to being a HILTON property. HILTON should be ashamed to have this hotel use their name and to not mention the price! This owner is definitely running a 2 star hotel but charging for a 4 star hotel. I WILL not stay here ever again and I will try my hardest to get the word out about this hotel to help others not experience what I went through! My message to the owner PLEASE upgrade your hotel and fix everything that needs to be fixed and hire more room service to clean the hotels properly to...

I really dislike giving poor reviews, but felt compelled to do so for our stay. Several things were just not up to standard, and I don't know if it's because of struggles to employ enough staff, but the overall experience at this hotel was less than acceptable, in my opinion.

First of all, I had booked a king suite, and after considering further I had decided to change our booking to a double queen room instead. I called the hotel to see if this change might be possible, and the woman I spoke with said yes they could make that switch for an additional $20/night. I was very happy with their help to get this taken care of. Then when we arrived to check in, we were told that they couldn't actually accommodate this change for us! I was surprised and told her I had called ahead and was told they could change our room, and she said yes they got the request but had no rooms available. If this was the case, they should have called us to let us know because the woman on the phone definitely gave me the impression that the change was made for us, not that it was a request that needed to be reviewed.

After this disappointing change, we were also told that the swimming pool was unavailable for half of our stay! We had no idea about this, and this was a major factor in deciding which hotel to choose. If we had known this, we likely would have found a different hotel, since we have 2 small kids and they were really looking forward to swimming. Not only this, but once the pool did open, it still didn't seem adequately cleaned. The water was cloudy and I could actually see hair and dirt floating in it. Also, people were leaving wet towels all around the pool and nobody was taking care of tidying up, so it just looked dirty and gross. There also weren't any chairs or tables set in nearby the pool, so if you want to supervise your kids swimming you basically have nowhere to do so unless you want to sit on the edge of the planter in the pool area.

The last major issue was that our king suite that we were placed in was right near the some of the mechanics of the elevator and it was horribly noisy. Our family tends to be understanding and tolerant of certain amounts of noise at a hotel. It just happens. But this was horrible. We had trouble sleeping and both our kids said the noise woke them up during the night/early morning hours. It was so bad that we literally packed up all our stuff and asked to be moved to a different room. Thankfully the second room was fine. The last thing that I thought was odd, was that we also weren't permitted to control our own heating/cooling system in our room. The hotel itself controls it and you just have to deal with whatever they decide. We had a couple nights of our room feeling stuffy and not cool enough for us.

Overall, poor experience. I was disappointed since our stays at different embassy suites have always been excellent. We definitely won't be...

Disappointing! The pictures when booking this hotel make it appear to be a nice, well-kept hotel. However, that is the furthest from the truth.

I arrived at the hotel earlier than the scheduled check-in time, around 11 am, to be exact. I asked the front desk if there was a room available now, and they were able to accommodate me, but for a $30 early check-in fee. I am a Diamond member, and a loyal one at that. I felt I shouldn't have to pay the early check-in fee, but I agreed and headed to my room.

My room was on the second floor, and I stepped into the elevator; it was dirty, with food spilled on the floor. (See Picture) As stated, I am a Diamond Member and stay in many Hilton hotels. I understand that things happen. However, I rode the elevator several hours later, and the mess was still there. :(

I walk into my room for the first time, and a wet, musty smell greets me. This smell is typical for a hotel room and usually happens because the AC has been turned off for an extended period. I dropped the AC temperature, threw my luggage on the bed, and headed to the gym.

The gym is a standard hotel gym that was in proper working order. I rode their Peloton bike for 45min and headed back to my room. I jumped in the shower and started preparing for a dinner meeting. I grabbed their hair dryer and was utterly disgusted. (See Picture) I head out to my dinner meeting, and upon my return, my hotel room is still has a wet and musty smell, and the temperature has increased despite the AC being on for hours.

The final straw for me was when the corner of the room caught my eye. (See Picture) That is dirt, and it has been there a while. I packed my bags and walked down to the front desk.

I showed the front desk staff the pictures of my room and let them know about the AC not working. The team, which was super friendly and helpful, apologized and offered to waive my parking fees. I agreed and also asked about the early check-in fee. Upon review, it was never added to my bill despite being told it would be.

I got my new keys and headed to my new room! I was greeted by that familiar wet and musty smell as I entered. I inspected the room, and the hair dryer to make sure that it was satisfactory, and it was. The room temperature was 70 degrees. I dropped the AC to 60 and went to bed. A few hours later, I woke up in a puddle of sweat, but neither the AC nor the fan ever turned on.

It is now 2 am, and I have my balcony sliding glass door open to allow cool fresh air in the room, all while listening to the roaring 91 freeway.

I am checking out and changing hotels for the remainder of my stay.

This hotel needs to live up to the Hilton Clean Standard. I would not...
