I would give a “no star” rating if possible. On 4/28/2019 My daughter and I walked into the store to look for some furniture and a rug. There was one person working who was sitting behind the desk in the center of the sales floor. He never acknowledged us and made no attempt to help in any way. We walked the entire store and finally walked up to him to ask about the warranty on a certain couch. He got up, walked over to the tag on the couch, read the tag and told us nothing more than we had already found on our own. Walked back to his area and never said another word. We decided then we wouldn’t be purchasing any furniture but we did see a rug we liked and walked back to the desk to tell him we would like to purchase the rug. He was on his cell phone. We purchased the a rug, drove directly to my Mother’s home (10 minutes from their store) and when we took the rug inside the color was actually purple, not red as it had looked in the store. We immediately called the store to tell them we would be back to return the rug due to the wrong color. The unhelpful, unprofessional individual who was also the same person who sold us the rug informed us that the rug could not be returned. I told him I read the sign that stated clearance items could not be returned but the rug was not on clearance. He again said it couldn’t be returned. His suggestion was for me to try and sell it on Facebook Market Place as he had heard people have good luck selling things on the site! Seriously! I hadn’t even had the rug away from their store for more than 20 minutes at the most, it was the wrong color, and had never been walked on! I was shocked given the fact that he never mentioned anything about the rug being non-returnable, and the receipt has nothing stating items can’t be returned. I asked for the manager. Conveniently the manager was not available. I asked for the manager to call me the next morning. The unhelpful rude scam artist said he wasn’t sure when she would be in. The next day, no call. I called again, was told the manager wasn’t in and that they don’t sell used items in their store so obviously the rug couldn’t be returned. WHAT! It had never been used! Never walked on! I again asked for the manager to call me as soon as possible. After calling every single day since the 28th, the manager has never called and apparently is never in the store no matter what time of day. So, I’m stuck with a purple $100 rug that matches nothing in my home or my Mother’s home and a store that obviously has every intention of scamming people out of hard earned money every chance they get. NEVER AGAIN, AND BUYERS BEWARE, THIS COMPANY IS UNETHICAL, UNPROFESSIONAL AND APPARENTLY EMPLOYS LAZY EMPLOYEES AND MANAGERS WHO ARE MYSTERIOUSLY UNAVAILABLE AT ANYTIME A CUSTOMER HAS...
Read moreThis is my experience. I went into the store on Sunday to buy some furniture for my new place. I tried multiple pieces until I found what I was looking for. I went to pay for the pieces and take them home when my first problem happened, only one person was working and there was no way to pull merchandise so I had to have it delivered, a 50 dollar fee. I agreed and they said they couldn't get me in until Wednesday night between 6-7pm. So I waited, six p.m. hits, no call no one showed up. 6:27pm I call them to verify my furniture was on the way in case the paperwork got lost or something like that. The salesmen, Bill Moore, responded with it is on its way before I even told him my name. The whole call lasted 57 seconds. I waited for them to show and at 7:15pm I decided I'd call again because more then 15 minutes when they it only takes 5 minutes to drive there was more then a little late. machine answer that they are closed, but you can't leave a message because it is full!!! I was upset I stayed up tell 10 never saw my furniture. 3:30pm next day they call me I miss the call because I was at work, when I get home I go up to talk to them about how they can make this right. It was simple, they said they were going to be there, I called to verify, they didn't show. The 15 minute total time it would have taken to deliver to my house, would not have cost nearly 50 dollars to begin with, so sense they messed up royally eating the delivery fee wasn't unreasonable. The salesman I talked to today, Thursday, May 25, 2017, Bill Moore hardly seemed to be bothered at all, his whole stance on it was about like the 57 second call the night before, I don't really care about you or your problems. I told them the only other thing they could do besides waving the fee was give me my money back and I would go elsewhere, the complete lack of concern even on a remote level blew me away. I ended up getting my money back and I would never suggest anyone to shop...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. We went to purchase a couch on Sunday and asked if they had a certain couch in a different color. The girl working said it was in their warehouse behind the store. We purchased the couch under the impression that it was in the warehouse like she had told me. My boyfriend drives to pick it up and they say they don't have that couch and they will order it and it would be there by Friday. Friday comes around and they had not called us so I call them and they say it's not there and asked me if I wanted a refund or if I wanted to wait until next week when it would get there. I told them I guess I would just wait. After talking to my boyfriend we decided we just wanted to get our money back since the experience had been overall terrible. So I go in Saturday and try to get a refund like he had told me the previous day was ok and he tells me I would have to pay a 30% special order fee which is a big chunk of change when buying furniture ! He also told me they had not ordered the couch until yesterday when I had called so they had charged my card nearly a week ago and had not ordered my couch and probably would not have unless I called them! The manager was extremely rude about the situation and this was the worst experience I've had with a business. Do not waste your...
