China House — Restaurant in Anderson

First time ordering take out. I stood at the counter and watched them cooking. The man (owner) took a bowl of shrimp from frige and with bare hands picked up each shrimp to place in wok. BARE HANDS! I always order dumplings (my way to judge). Couldn't eat one! Horrible! Five bucks to the wind! The shrimp was fresh but the lobster sauce was yucky. I will never go there again. 14.00 down the drain! These people who wrote great reviews are people that probably have never been out of Anderson. I'm from Philadelphia. One of the best Chinatowns ever! Also I've been to New York's Chinatown. Amazing! And been to San Francisco's Chinatown. Unreal! THESE PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW THE CHINESE CUISINE! This restaurant has been in Anderson Indiana for quite sometime, consist of a husband and wife team, and their now youngest son. Their service is prompt, no delay, and food, depending on what you order is not bad at all. Today I order 2 egg rolls, vegetable kind and small white rice. Usually their white rice is great but today, July 31, 2019 when I sit down to eat it, as I opened up the container it had a very strange sour like smell to it, and texture of the rice was extremely wet, like it needed to cook some more, but the odor, it left me feeling like, what is this? Sadly, I love their rice but I threw it in the garbage, so for this experience I give them a 4 star, since they are a great team and fast on their food orders. My husband and I ordered egg foo young and egg rolls, half way through our dinner two black hairs were found mixed in our food. Yuck, but stuff happens. When he called to let them know of the issue, he was hung up on which upset the egg basket even more. We took the plate and went back to the store were the hostess got very ignorant with us telling everyone that the hair was white and her's was red. The "cook" acted like he was going to come around the counter to start a fight with us. It is unfortunate that establishments can't make better judgement when they are at fault.
