AutoZone Auto Parts — Local services in Angier

After having my car not start a few times today, I went to have my battery and alternator checked. The worker told me he already knew it was my battery because if it was my alternator it wouldn’t start. After standing there for a few seconds he asked if I still wanted my battery checked, clearly not wanting to go outside in the rain to check my battery. Once he checked my battery, he told me it was no good and asked if I had tools at home. He said I could take the battery out and put it back in when I wanted to drive and it should work. I got in the car and ordered a battery from Advance in Fuquay. My new battery was installed in a couple of minutes and I was back on my way despite the rain. Poor customer...

I called on 7/10/2025 at 5:11 via my Bluetooth in my car. I actually asked Google to call advanced auto parts in Angier and this is who they dialed for me. When I don't know what his name was answered the phone it was a little blurry. All I heard was him say "zone". I responded "oh, I'm sorry but did you say auto zone "? He replied very very rudely " Like I said, auto zone Angier " I asked him if they carried batteries for a Honda CRV key fob. He replied no so I hung up. I was actually looking for O'Reilly auto parts which is right next to the auto zone. I called them, very nice and eager to help young lady. I went there and received exceptional service. I am an actual customer and leaving a review... I went to my local Angier Auto Zone store this morning to get a diagnostic on my battery. Michael was extremely helpful testing the battery and finding out it was taking it's last breath today. He showed me comparable batteries and I ended up selecting one exactly like I was replacing. While replacing the battery, Michael discovered a small leak and fixed that for me on the spot. Instead of giving 100%, he gave 150%. I wholeheartedly recommend the Angier Auto Zone.
