It’s nice to have this neighborhood store for hardware and propane. But I don’t recommend them for repair service. I took two snowblowers in for a tuneup in mid October. I was told 2+ weeks and was fine with that. In two weeks I was called that I had a blower ready for pickup. I asked if there were two ready? The young gal calling became very irritated and stated she had already called everyone who had blowers ready. I explained I had two there dropped at the same time but, was treated rudely and told they would call when it was done. Third week in I stopped and talked to the employee at the front on Saturday. They located the blower and said it was probably waiting for parts. It wasn’t. On Monday following I stopped and talked to the repair guy,and he tells me they are 3 weeks out and they will get to it. Called on the 4th week out and told them I wanted to check on a repair. They said they were 3 weeks out on repair. I said mine has been there 4 weeks. He asked for my name and I told him. He confirmed it was still there and they would get to it. I pressed to try to get a date when and was told he had stuff there from September he still was working on. I asked to have some keys made and Tom responded that it was going to get very busy with customers soon so I would have to come back another time. I was confused because he was standing around doing nothing at the time, and I was indeed a customer. When I questioned him further as to why he couldn't help me, he told me that it was not his priority right now. I was totally shocked at how rude and dismissive, and unprofessional he was! Tom walked off without helping me, but I was helped by the owner. He was curtious and helpful, but said absolutely nothing about the behavior he had just witnessed from his employee. I can't imagine this is the kind of employee that anyone would tolerate. Totally unacceptable. You just lost my business! Read moreI was very upset with their lawn mower service. I took my mower in to get serviced and got it back a week later. When I used it the same day I picked it up and died after a few minutes. I called them and they said I would have to bring it back. They said I could borrow their mower, but I’d have to return it after use. That was nice, but not efficient on my end. I took the mower back. They said they would put me on the top of the list and I’d get it back ASAP. I didn’t get a call until after a week. I went to get the mower once the weather was warmer. I asked if everything was good now and they confirmed. I used the mower and it died again. I called them and they said the same thing - I’d have to return it to get it checked and I could borrow their mower. I am beyond upset with their lawn mower service. I would not...
