The food was decent, but I could go somewhere else that’s better honestly. But the service was bad... got shrimp tempura when I asked for vegetable tempura.. asked me if I was ready to order & when I said yes, she walked away... the staff just really seems clueless & not properly trained. The server I had also told me that I was ordering too much food, which was really rude. I would only come for take out if I really wanted sushi that’s convenient.. but I wouldn’t dine in again. (This is from my first dine in experience) I came for a second time today only because I wanted to give them a second chance & when I ordered a bottle of lychee sake, (same server from last time) she gave me white peach & when I told her she gave me the wrong one she didn’t even apologize, she just told me since I have already drunken it that she can’t give me a new one which was fine since I did already drank it but the least she could’ve done was apologize. So from my first experience I gave them a 3 out of 5 stars, & after today I changed my old review to a 1 star instead. They noticed I changed my review & came over to the bar to give me a dessert & then she proceeded to ask me if I could delete my review.. I took my time to explain to her as to why I gave her this review, but I’m not entirely sure if she understood cause she tried to tell me that she was talking about portions were large (not that I was ordering too much) which didn’t seem that way at all. Either way, I definitely won’t be coming here again. The manager took the right steps on taking care of the situation, but I believe the server that I had could use some work on her customer service. I’ll change my 1 star back to a 3 star, but only because I know they are working...
Read moreWASTE OF TIME AND MONEY! Wait staff is clueless! Worst service I have ever had a sushi restaurant. My husband and I went with our kids, 3 and 5. We had 2 napkins n 2 sets of chop sticks. We ordered sushi for us, appetizers for all of us, and 1 kids chicken hibachi for the kids to share. We got the sushi and the appetizers at the same time, without extra plates. We use the appetizer plates for the kids. We kept trying to ask when the waitress brought food for the sauce cups for the sushi, napkins and forks for our kids. Took 3 tries with our waitress ignoring us, then I asked the hostess. Still didn't get any napkins, at this point I also asked if the kids food was coming. Oh the kitchen is backed up. It took 30 minutes past when our food came to get the kids. The food all tasted good but we were there for almost 2 hours! As we were leaving my 5 year old "I gotta poop!" Looked all over couldn't find a sign for a bathroom, couldn't find anyone to ask, there was no one every at the front desk. Ended up taking him to kum and go across the street and he had pooped his pants.
Restaurants should be smart enough to know not to bring all the food except kids, kids don't understand and get upset when they have to wait 30 minutes long than the rest of the table. Even when we ordered drinks, we got ours and more than 10 minutes later she brought their apple juice.
Wait staff needs to pay attention, shouldn't ignore customers when they try talking to you.

Read moreMy only issue is that one of our rolls came out and it tasted awful. Right as I took the first bite the waitress asked if everything was good. I said no, that I tasted something bad, but I couldn't figure out what it was. She proceeded to tell me it's a very popular roll and lots of people love it. I noticed some green sauce off to the side. I tasted it and realized it was the same flavor I found offensive. I asked if that was wasabi sauce and she said yes. I said I do not like wasabi at all and I did not see that on the menu for this roll. I checked the menu again and sure enough, no wasabi listed. My partner tried a piece from the middle and said there was no wasabi there so it must've been mistake and just part of the roll was affected. I tried another piece from the middle and could taste a little bit of the wasabi flavor but not as much. My point being that rather than offer to remake it or discount our bill the waitress just tried to basically tell me I should like it. She was even trying to tell me it's one of the uncooked rolls so maybe I didn't like the raw fish taste. And I'm like, no - it's definitely the wasabi sauce. That shouldn't have been there in the first place! So they would get 5 stars if not for this issue. The roll was inedible to me. We'll try again but will ask for no wasabi sauce...
