So today I came into the store with my cousin to purchase an iPhone 13 pro max, we were denied because the customer rep ( SAM ) said she didn’t feel comfortable selling us a phone which I have no clue why because I just purchased one through Verizon Friday afternoon. I was also on the phone with customer support at the time while SAM told me she didn’t feel comfortable selling me a iPhone the customer support told me that wasn’t a valid reason to why she couldn’t sell me a phone also SAM put a fraudulent on my account saying I was using bad checks when I never used a check to purchase my first phone I paid by debit card so I have no clue why she lied and told the police that, so I had to contact the fraudulent department to have them remove the fraud on my account also why still on the phone with customer support, the support rep asked to speak with SAM and she refused to speak with her the rep kept telling SAM that is not a valid reason to not sell him a phone or to put fraud on his account but she did anyways. I will definitely be getting my lawyer involved in this case if you are black do not go to this location to purchase anything they will treat you like trash & also the officer I spoke with was awesome and calmed me down a lot I appreciate her so much! Went back to store and they played around a while and made me go back home to get the box. Came back and they refunded what I paid and said the computer made a mistake. Charged me more than I did on original transaction. Asked where my device dollars were applied and they said they would be applied on my bill. Sure hope so. When I got home, checked my Verizon account again. Still a 24 month contract for 24 dollars and change. Went back to store again and they said all phones need to have a contract that leave the store. You can't by a phone outright here???? The only thing they told me was I could bring the phone back for refund and go to the corporate store. Would really suggest everyone drive over to Delaware and use the corporate store as these people don't care. The store front is even misleading as all they have is Verizon as a sign making appear as a corporate store. Never had an issue at the corporate store and the device dollars are applied on the sale not the bill. Just checked with Verizon and my device dollars were not being applied to my bill. Read moreMy husband received an unsolicited call from this specific location yesterday, stating he could upgrade his paid off Pixel 1 to a new Pixel 4 for $14-$18 a month. Not sure why he got the call since I'm the account holder but whatever. We couldn't find this deal online or in the app so we went in there today. The man who helped us told us it would be around $36 and that was ONLY if we had an unlimited plan (which we do not). When I expressed my frustration at the misleading numbers to get us in there, I was fed some line about how the company makes them call people and not all info is accurate. What the heck? The employee then proceeded to ask us why we don't have an unlimited plan. I hardly use half of the GB in my current plan - why the heck would I pay almost double for unlimited plan? I am frustrated at the tactics used to get us in there and I was frustrated with the quality of answers I received once in there.
