I am morally obligated to start this review with the fact that I do not have any appreciation whatsoever for being met by a sales person when I visit a retail store. In fact, I find it it to be very off-putting. That said, I happened to be picking up food for my puppy at a local pet store and saw that Bob's Furniture had recently opened in the same shopping plaza. I have been in the market for a new mattress and adjustable mattress bed frame.
I was greeted by Tyler upon entering the store. I acknowledged him and after a brief orientation to their store, he quickly respected my I wish to just look around. I found the showroom very easy to navigate and setup well. The only criticism I have is that the pricing displays could have been more visible and self-explanatory.
After deciding what I was interested in, I found Tyler within eyesight and waved him over. Tyler was well-spoken and answered the plethora of questions that I threw his way. He then graciously dealt with reconfiguring my options a few times and then I settled on a final choice. Since I was absolutely clear on what I wanted, Tyler respected that and other than the mattress bundle and protection, which I am sure that he is obligated by Bob's to offer, he made no other attempts to up-sell me needlessly.
Tyler did a great job explaining their delivery options and I chose the "white glove" delivery option (It should be said that I loathe that terminology). He then reviewed the purchase with his manager. I would offer that at this time, I believe that it would have been courteous if the manager introduced himself, however he nodded towards me and went about his business. Delivery process was bs. My partner ended up working all day on the day of our delivery and I was ill so I tried to reschedule delivery. The representative I spoke with did not reschedule the delivery so they brought the couch anyways. They called my partner who told the drivers he was at work but since they were here, they could leave the couch and he told them where to put it so it would be hidden from people driving by. We live on a corner, at a dead end. Luckily when my brother in law got home from work, he pulled the boxed pieces of our new couch inside our fence. Despite me, my partner and my brother in law being the only people to know that couch was dropped off right there, a diesel truck with a trailer pulled up on Our dead end (almost behind our house), at 1 am, waking me up and activating our back & side of the house cameras. As soon as they saw the light come on and that the delivery was no longer accessible, they backed right out of the dead end. The only other people who knew that couch was there and knew my partner was at work are your delivery drivers. I reported this to the company and did not receive a call back from management. This neighborhood already makes me feel unsafe, imagine people pulling up to your house with less than great intentions at 1 am and you're alone...dont get your friends shot over a couch

Read moreThis is what I received. One price brow, 2 grey, one piece has messed up stitches in the front that will unravel. Didn't notice this until I unboxed it, AFTER SPENDING 3.5 HOURS trying TO GET IT DOWN IN MY BASEMENT. I had to take handrails off my stairs, move my whole basement, and then I see this. I am SO SO SO SO SO UNHAPPY AND IRRITATED. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Called support and after 20 minutes of saying they would just send 2 replacements, no fuss, no issues because we called immidiately, he starts to end the call by saying they will be by to pick up the 2 defective, incorrect pieces now. NOW IN THE NEXT WEEK, WHICH I HAVE NO TIME FOR, I HAVE TO FIND ANOTHER 4 HOURS TO MOVE IT BACK UPSTAIRS SO THEY CAN PICK OUR UP AFTER BEING USED FOR A WEEK!!!??? I told them they can pick it up next month when I have time, or have someone come get it out of our basement without destroying my home, ( good luck) and they won't. So now, unless I SPEND HOURS HAULING IT BACK UPSTAIRS, I AM STUCK WITH THIS HORRIBLE UGLY MESS. I bought it for a party I have this weekend and I am so embarrassed. I paid about $150 to have it delivered, tired the men $20, and did hours of work.... Just to have to UNDO IT BY NEXT THURSDAY, while I do not have time or the energy. I'm so upset.
