If you've never visited Aldi, you just have to go. They intentionally look for great deals and ways to give their customers the best prices.
The produce is always fresh. You will usually find milk and eggs less expensive than any other store (great for snow days in Alabama...they also have bread). Everything is less at Aldi.
One of the best parts of the store is the "Aldi Finds" aisle. It's always changing with GREAT deals. You never know what you will find, but if you see it and want it, you better get it. You might not ever see it again. I do a lot of gift closet shopping on this aisle. And at Christmas, I can't wait to get there. I did so much Christmas shopping every week at Aldi in this aisle.
Also, take a quarter. You "rent" your buggy (that's shopping cart for anyone not from the South). It's amazing how this system keeps all the carts out of the parking lot. Also, BYOB (bring your own bags) or...

In all seriousness, this Aldi is great and stays in the ever-present realm of expectations for Aldi. If you don't mind buying the "off-brand" versions of popular grocery items, this store will have your heart. I paid $3 for a tub of guacamole that I know is about $5 at my usual grocery store. Then I paid $13 for a 12-pack of off-brand Whiteclaws. A 12-pack of Whiteclaws is $22 at some stores. To top it all off, both of the mentioned products tasted amazing once I tried them.
