Allergy Warning – Please Avoid This Subway Location ⚠️ I have a severe dairy allergy and have eaten at Subway many times before without issues because the staff at other locations are always more than happy to accommodate my needs. Unfortunately, my recent experience at the [insert location here] was extremely disappointing and concerning. When I explained that I needed fresh turkey and lettuce due to cross-contamination with cheese, the employees were rude and dismissive. In my frustration, I may not recall their exact wording, but here are examples of what was said to me: one employee said something like, “It’s not brown, what’s the problem?” — ignoring the fact that my allergy has nothing to do with spoiled food. Another brushed me off with a comment along the lines of, “There’s not gonna be cheese in lettuce,” showing a complete lack of understanding about cross-contamination. I calmly explained that I could literally die if cheese touches my food, and I was still met with eye-rolls and unhelpful attitudes. Another staff member added something close to, “Well you got your food so idk why you’re still going.” A food allergy is not something I can help — and I should not be treated differently or discriminated against because of it. I understand that my allergy is severe, but if every other Subway location can handle this without issue, there is no reason why this store should refuse. Food allergies are life-threatening, and it is unacceptable for staff to dismiss or mock them. If anyone knows who the owner or manager of this location is, please let me know so I can file a formal complaint. Until then, I highly recommend avoiding this location if you or someone you love has food allergies. Your safety is not taken...
Read moreI didn’t post a review the first time and thought okay I will let it go, but after today’s bad experience... apparently walk in customers orders come after online orders. I big deal I understand your business model. However I was told immediately when I walked in the door that if I didn’t have an online order that they would not be able to get to me. Associate working named Kendra said it would be over 30mins before they could take my order that they had 10 online sandwiches. Well there were two people working and 10 sandwiches to be made, so 10 by 1 person in 30 mins would be 3 mins per sandwich, with 2 ppl for mam power that increase their production time to 6 mins per sandwich. That does not add up. In addition the young girl in front of me who had and online order received bad service. Her sandwich was taken in error by someone else. Again Kendra refused to remake the customers sandwich and just said to look for her refund. What!? In what world do you not just remake the order. And the poor girl who is the second associate pulled her mask down and mouthed “I am so sorry” to me and the other customer. While Kendra was running her mouth and not making sandwiches the other associate was working away! As a manager it is not hard to give a little bit of customer service. How hard is it to divide and conquer. Hey new girl, you handle he online influx of orders and I will take all walk ins. When I do not have a walk in toss me an online order and I can help you catch up. Apparently Keith Comer is the owner and he needs to know that Kendra is turning away business and apparently takes 6 mins to...
Read moreI went to the location on McClellan Blvd today & there were 2 employees one black & 1 white employee. The black lady was finishing an order & there was someone from Doordash that had to come back because a sandwich was missing from the order. The white employee asked what I needed but walked away, used the company phone to make a personal call & proceeded to complain about work. She had to ask me 4 times what I wanted because she was too busy on a personal call to know what I asked for. I finally told her if she would get off of her personal call she wouldn't have to keep asking me. She then told me she could make me leave and she left the sandwiches unmade & went to the back. She never came back, the black employee had to make my sandwiches from start to finish. The black employee told her more than once she needed help because customers were coming in, but she never came back. I feel bad for the black employee because she is having to work in a hostile environment, she continued to smile & do her job with professionalism & I commend her for that. The white employee was rude, unprofessional & management should review the security footage. & take appropriate action as this employee is a poor reflection on...
