I saw Dr. Sells several nights ago so sick sick and scared. He is Awesome, He did lab work and was very concerned. I continued to get worse so Family said You’re going to Birmingham. I was seen there the medications helped and I felt a lot better full of hope and sure that I was getting better. I woke up yesterday morning right back like I was before the IV and meds I was treated with in Bham , I waited the day out praying things would improve and they continued . I didn’t know what else to do other than go back to Stringfellow , I was in no condition to get myself to Bham feeling faint , numbness, weakness and with a heart rate of 132 when I arrived there no way I needed to drive to Bham. I had an EKG and blood work, I had asked for a CT Scan to determine what is causing the numbness throughout my entire body and tingling as well as inflammation. Labs were done , EKG and They said they had slowed down it would be about 30 minutes. I fell asleep and woke up hours later asked the male nurse about my results and was told the Dr. was tied up with something. 5 minutes later a not so nice and friendly nurse comes and hands me my paperwork and I’m free to go 7 hours later with no explanation, no CT Scan No Anything other than a Recommendation to use the same place for treatment with a Chronic Condition . Could I had made it to Bham I certainly would have , That isn’t always possible for people who are sick or financially cannot do so. Horrible experience. I am back home with the same problems and concerns and fears. This is Sad . Nobody wants to be sick and people just want help to get well . There is no reason to tell someone something that is common sense. People just wanted treated with care and respect,Anwsers to what is wrong and to get well . 4 Years of not getting a concrete Answer to what is wrong or the proper treatment and I am ready to move. We arrived around 12pm and were treated with hostility from the intake nurse. She acted like I was inconveniencing her and just wasting her time.

I was told we would have to wait in the car, while it's almost 90 degrees out; with no shade to be found, for nearly 3 hours. We're lucky we didn't run out of gas or have a heat stroke.

We finally received call from Triage and were treated with hostility yet again. We were told "they can't guarantee that you'll get COVID-19 test" with the worst sass a woman could muster.

We get called into the building around 3 and get treated with hostility from R.N. JANE L ROSZELL "You don't go to the ER for a stuffy nose"

After getting swabbed for all the things, I made that hateful woman EAT HER WORDS when my CoVid test came back positive. I have never felt so unwelcome in a hospital before in my life. For a hospital that prides itself on "compassion", I didn't find much during my visit. The only people who were not hateful or hostile were the NP Sherry K Williams and the maintenance man who had to fix the door.

Hospital administration needs to do better in ensuring that the staff treats ALL patients with respect and compassion, instead of being so hateful and treating your patients with disdain.

I would rather drive all the to Birmingham than go to StringFellow ever again. Absolutely...

Very rude I wish I can give this hospital 0 stores because they are very rude and unprofessional I've been there twice in less than 24 hours for hours I have a Very obvious infection in my Hand The 1st time I went to the ER they told me basically nothing was wrong with me shot me with a tetanus shot gave me some pain meds sent me home after I waited 4 hours in a lobby. Then they gave me a big issue about pain medicine because I was an excruciating pain and I didn't want to give me pain medication unless someone with a vehicle came up there and order for me to get medicine .today Today my hand was extremely swollen it radiated down my Palm and into my arm and is it burst in several spots leaking obvious and fast obvious infection and blood so they finally I went back to the ER and they finally admitted me only to continue to argue with me and treated me like I didn't even matter they are very rude And they were asking me to sign documents or whatever and I couldn't shine with the hand you know It was trying to force me to sign and I couldn't sign. So I left still an obvious pain just now still leaking blood and infection I will never go back to that hospital that is the worst hospital here until I do not recommend that...
