Antioch Water Park — Local services in Antioch

The place is kinda small with not much to do. Some of the slides were broken too, but they still charge full price for a less than 100% experience. Some of the lifeguards inject themselves a bit more than necessary as well. My daughter was given a blue wristband which means she doesn’t need a life vest. However, a life guard asked if I needed a life vest for her. I said no because she can swim well enough and I was with her the whole time. She secretly called her supervisor who came over and pressured me into a life vest anyways. Extremely unprofessional of both of them. I ended up taking the vest off her because the bulkiness made it harder for her to swim.

Another life guard told me not to swim under the blue lily pads even though I wasn’t, I was just went over to it after my daughter fell off to help guide her away from the pads.

In short, the park needs to fix their stuff or offer discounts, and the life guards need to be trained better at to what the rules of the park are and stop unnecessarily injecting themselves into everything. I’m sorry if you’re all bored at work, but don’t entertain yourselves by...

It is a very nice community pool feel with a few pools and 2 water slides. A waterpark has waterslides so I guess it is. There is very little shade by way of amatuer trees only, and at least half of these you will be on a pretty steep hill, and often in wet grass . Its typically pretty slow here...so might not be n issue but definitely bring your own shade . The food service is why I have a 3 and not a 4. I spent 15 minutes (and counting) at noon, waiting for a cheeseburger and fries. Luckily you can bring your own food which I highly recommend. The food is like a little league baseball snack shack, just crazy slower.

UPDATE This is the 3rd of 4 visits where BOTH of their only 2 slides meant for people over 4 years old, were closed . The 4th visit, one of the slides was open at least. Lowering from 3 stars to 2 since this place needs new management. Go to Contra Loma if you just want to swim. Hurricanes Harbor for a water slide experience . Food took 22 min overall for 3...

Worst place to go swimming or have a party , Rented out a party for my 5 year old kid and told us we could not take ice in so all are food went bad . When we made it inside not 1 single slide was open at all the whole reason we even wanted to go . They had so many life guards for so little activity and a bunch of stupid rules . They did not let you climb across a rope over the Lilly pads and my brother stepped on broken glass in the pool and cut his foot all they did was act like they cleaned the pool and had everyone reeneter the same pool area minutes later . We were not recompensed and were not allowed to get a full refund they offered us a 30 percent refund . To top it off when we made the purchase for the party area we were promised a goody bag for my kids party and they claimed they could not find it . Worst experience ever my kids...
