El Caporal Taqueria — Restaurant in Antioch

Emergency food only, again emergency food only! If this is your last resort then eat there otherwise don't waste your money. The drinks are not as good as they're supposed to be, it's a mix. The food is disgusting, the flavor is not even to par. The rice is crunchy, especially on the weekends when the young kids are working. The food does not taste good, it is not well prepared, it does not even look good, the presentation is even bad. I haven't eaten there in a couple of months but I used to frequent it before California Burrito came on the same street but even that is not good Latin food. Being that I am Latin, I make my own food but I like to spend money on my kids and go out once in awhile so I don't have to cook, huge mistake going there I will never go there again trust me...

We have been going here for a while now but the last 4 times they have gotten our order wrong, gave us the wrong meat and today they gave us a completely different burrito all together. We order the exact same thing every time and every time they make it differently with different ingredients. I have never seen such inconsistency at any other restaurants. I have a child who can't eat dairy and even when I tell them that they still load the food with cheese and sour cream. I never go back and complain because I don't notice until we get home and in constantly giving them the benefit of the doubt but it's getting...

4yrs my husband has frequented this spot and orders the same exact thing every time. So much so I grilled him for spending 20+ on a single burrito. Well today is his cheat day and per usual he went to place his order only to be told they can no longer accommodate his burrito request. No specific reason given. Is it because he’s black? Comes in to frequently yet pays for the extras EVERY time? Or something else? Imagine spending 80+ dollars in a single month sometimes more for 4 years and all of a sudden be denied your usual order? What an ungrateful establishment taking our money for this long and just say no...
