LAST UPDATE- NEVER GOING BACK😔 (My first review from Aug/Sept is below) After giving this establishment a few more chances, I AM FINALLY DONE WITH THEM. I have never experienced such a lack of transparency in prices for a business in my life. As mentioned in my previous review, everytime I've visited this salon, there is some sort of random charge added to my service. It almost feels as if there is an effort to add extra charges to any service you get matter what. Their prices are not displayed, they are on their website. They do not verbally discuss additional charges before or while providing the service. Once you go up to pay you are met with surprise charges which they nonchalantly brush off. I have no issue with paying a fair price for a service and adding a 20 or more percent tip. (Which I always do), HOWEVER, this place is very sneaky and nontransparent with the prices. I've only really gone there for a fillings, but every time, there's been an extra charge either for the nails being too long, being reshaped, new shape, cut, ..... . The last straw for me today was being charged and extra $6 for the length of my nails when my nails are not long at all. As a matter of fact the last time I went a few weeks ago I got them cut shorter for which I was charged a cutting fee for. Again, if this was a consistent fee that was posted I will have no problem paying it but it seems like they just pick any additional charge to add to your service just to make extra money. If it is not the reshaping fee which is ridiculous, because my nails are always the same shape and I've been charged before for "reshaped". By the way I was told by the front desk girl to check the website today, and there is absolutely no mention of all these additional charges on their website..šŸ™„ I am just tired of them at this point. I'm never going back this is my final review. I don't recommend them and I will not recommend them to anyone in my community or anyone that I do business with.. 1ST REVIEWšŸ‘‡šŸæ Aug/Sep 2022 The actual work is good. My nails do last long. However, the inconsistencies in pricing every time I go is getting really annoying. There seems to be random added charges every time I go. I don't mind paying for good service and tipping at least 20%(and I always do), but they need to be more transparent with their pricing upfront. Today I was charged for a reshaping fee even though my nails were the same shape as when I came in.They explained to me that it was because when they file it they have to file around the shape that I already have. Which makes no sense. I was also charged for a length fee and my nails are not long at all. As a matter of fact it's been the same length since I've been going there and I've never been charged that fee...šŸ™„

Please bare with me…this is a lengthy review. My parents vow renewal was this past weekend and I needed my nails done the morning of the ceremony due to not having time to go to my new nail place. Sassy nails does wonderful work but this weekend was different. I asked for gold chrome French tips…simply said the quality of work was horrible. The chrome finish was sloppy and each nail looked horrible. However due to time I was not able to have it fixed. Sassy Nails has a policy that if there is any issue with services or finished product you can come back and they will fix free of charge. So Monday morning I went in to have my nails fixed and I asked for a pedicure. I kept saying I’m not paying for my nails to be redone she said sure no problem I will take care of you. She said would I like to change my design and I said no but she showed me a picture and said this would look better. She had to redo my fill-in because she said they (her coworker) didn’t do a good job. I kept asking and saying I’m not paying for this and she said no. Well that changed when I went to pay. My pedicure was $80 and then instead of fixing my nails she charged me an additional $40. So within 2 days I have spent over $200. I will never visit this establishment again. It was unfair and I work way too hard for my money. They kept asking me about my job. Black women work and I don’t like the fact that the questions were invasive. I feel like they assume whats in pockets and have stereotypical thoughts about me as a black women. I will no longer support this establishment. Way too expensive and just because you are in Apex doesn’t mean you should charge folks what YOU think they can afford. The other nail place I spend no more than $100 for both nails and pedicure. I have attached photos to show transparency and that I was not lying. No offense but the nail tech community needs to change how they see black people. I got accused of lying and saying things I didn’t say. HOW YOU TREAT PEOPLE MATTERS!

I get my lashes done here by Tammy, the owner, and they are just amazing! They always last way past 2 weeks, and Tammy is great at her placement and technique, so each set is flattering to that client and their particular eye shape. Her room and bed is the most comfortable I've ever been in, and she is just the sweetest, kindest, most professional technician! I've also been getting my nails done here ( as well my 3 daughters ) for over 5 years. Jenny, Tracy, Dee, and Tony are a few of my favorites who always give me the most perfect nails every time, BUT all their nail techs are terrific. I've only had to get a new set fixed or a broken nail repaired a handful of times the entire 5+ yearss I've been there. They always go out of their way to fix what you aren't happy with and truly take pride in your happiness and loving your nails. They will even repair / fix your nails if it's been a week or less since they were done! They salon is extremely clean, and very comfortable and inviting. They are always updated on the newest techniques / styles, fully stocked on all the colors whether it's in gel polish, dipping powders, or colored gel powders, plus they can do the most insane designs and other little extras if you want your nails to stand out a little more. Prices are a little higher but totally reasonable considering the quality of everything. I highly recommend giving them a try for nails and / or lashes. However, they do a ton more, too ( brows, waxing, etc ) and you can book online through their website!

This was my very first appointment with Sassy Nails & Spa. I had researched them from online and decided to give them a go due to the 4.6ā˜†'s. I was running about 20 minutes late and called to let them know of my late arrival whomever answered was so kind and nice on the phone. I arrived to my appointment, walked in and immediately spoke to Tammy who was so kind and nice as well. I told her what I wanted 😌 and she was so knowledgeable about offering services to me. I decided on getting the Acrylic with ombre color of pink and white. The gentleman named Tony filled my šŸ’… with a full set and did a Marvelous job on them. I will definitely be coming back here again and again. I am very well pleased with my nails. A Blessed and Grateful Customer!!!

Newest Update-:) May 6th I had a 9:30 nail appointment with Toni and all went well with my nails. Toni took his time with my nails and did a fabulous job as well as breaking down the price to me which is what the last nail tech did not do prior to him. The only thing that I did not like is that Toni and I will work through is telling me it's not good to add on three coats of top coat of my nail...lol. šŸ˜„ I just like to make sure that my nails will last for 3-4 weeks since I am paying for it. The other thing that I like about Toni is that he takes his time and is very patient. I like for people to listen to my valid concerns when I am speaking to them. I am very well pleased overall compared to the last place that I was going. I am the type of person Absolutely Do Not surprise me with price increases. Toni gave me a printout of what I would be paying before I paid the shop. And that's what I love right there. They will continue to have my business unless they...
