I've been going here for acaii bowls for years but was pretty disappointed by the level of service I experienced today. I went about a half hour before 3PM & they were out of strawberries, which was a bit of a bummer, but fair since it was a half hour before closing. The girl working there asked if I wanted to sub anything else in instead, I chose blueberries from the list she gave me. Then she rang me up & the medium Surfs Up bowl is normally $13.53 but it came out to be $14.03 which I was confused about later. Is it extra for the blueberries? Why wasn't I informed if that's the case since I'd only chosen them as a substitute for the strawberries they were out of? Then the bowl she'd handed to me had a big slab of honey dripping down the side of it which I didn't notice until I was back in my car & by that point a bunch of it had already gotten on my fingers from holding the bowl which then got on the interior of my car. I needed to drive home one handed with my other hand holding the bowl to prevent the honey from getting on the seat & other parts of my car. Just not a good experience overall. For additional context, this incident took place at the Lifetime Fitness truck in Apex

Read moreI placed my order through the app and it automatically populated a location this time and not the location that I normally use or wanted at Raleigh Orthopedics instead it put my order through without asking me or prompting me to pick a place, to the lifetime fitness location. The app said it would be ready in 20 minutes, I showed up to the Raleigh orthopedic location within 10 minutes and they said it’s their policy that any wrong order through the app is not their responsibility and unless the other place hadn't already made my drink they wouldn’t make me another one to replace it. Of course the other location had already made my order 10 minutes before they said it would be ready so I was just out of luck after paying for a $10 drink. If they are going to have a policy that strict about not honoring orders placed at the wrong location than their app needs to prompt you to pick a location rather than picking one for you. that’s just a terrible policy and...
Read moreI had positive experiences with Buoy Bowls before as a customer. That is why I went to them with a fundraising opportunity for a philanthropy event I was planning for my graduate program. I got verbal confirmation in November 2021 for the event happening March 2022. A few emails and texts went back and forth with the company between November and I would say January. January I confirmed (again) that they would like to participate. Was told yes. Once I was working to finalize details, end of January into February, I started not hearing back. I followed up with emails and texts with no response. Mid February comes around and I reach out to an individual I know who works there to get the organizer to respond to me, was told they would but never heard a response. I then had to last minute find a different organization to help me with my event. Getting verbal confirmation in November had me assuming all would be well. Very disappointed because I had always...
