GameStop — Local services in Apopka

Price not as advertised, some employees are nice not all My biggest problem is that they did not honor pricing even though their signs are incorrect. Sign says 50% off tees. Tees aren’t 50% ringing up full price. Sign says controller $54.99 and the controller is 74.99. Their excuse is that it was a sale that ended A MONTH AGO and they didn’t have time to change the signage. I’m like ok, yall need to give on one of these items because it’s a business issue not consumer issue. The assistant manager said answer no she’s not honoring price, which was extremely irritating. I paid for my items and left. Issue never was the money it was the experience. That store is not busy to not have “got around” to changing signs of a sale that ended over a month ago. The cashier was nice he was trying to find me something cheaper but the assistant manager had a tone with me because I asked her to honor the price and to read the sign to see where I was under the wrong impression with the sale. Absolutely disappointed in the Apopka Game Stop Location. My wife went in to trade to of the same games that were new. The young lady Kato or Kairo immediately saw that and implicated that she stole the games and denied us a trade in.We went to the Altamonte location on 434 and was told once we get to the counter that they can't take them...stating that the other store called the District Manager and advised that there was a guy walking around with two new games trying to trade them. The guy at the Altamonte location stated he wold help us and he doesn't know why she implicated we stole the item, instead of asking for our receipt which we produced!!!! We now have to wait 24hours to trade the other even though we were about to get on the rode for vacation. So in order for our children to be able to already have their games, we must now wait. We have been loyal customer but no longer will we be. Gamestop has lost our business. And I will not stop until I speak to the District Manager as they stated made the decision all within 20 mins of going from one location...

Well it's expensive but also worth the trip. Not just this store but the merchandise itself is like anywhere else you are going to pay a lot on gaming, game systems and accessories. The benefits here make it much better to get everything in this store rather than online or elsewhere. I wish I could reply on another person's review of the store it was lew9000 stated that it was the worst stories been to in 20 years and that he lives 2 mi from this store but yet he would rather drive 20 mi out of the way to another store when there is another store right up the road on 434 less than a quarter mile from 436 so I don't know if he was just saying that for dramatic effect but all I know is every time I've been in the store I have never had poor customer service I have never been given poor information I guess things have changed since he reviewed the place but it's not as bad as what people are talking about yes they do get busy mind you but so do a lot of...
